I have been under Dr Raza's care for almost 3 years. I first saw him when a spinal MRI showed large fibroid. A few months ago, I had been in more discomfort than before so I decided to see Dr Raza in September. It turned out then after USG that the fibroid grew almost 60% and the additional MRI showed abnormal tissue. Dr Raza decided to perform emergency single-port robotic hysterectomy, an advanced and innovative method in the gynecology field. Although he was fully booked, he prioritised my case. Everything went well, and I recovered within a few weeks. I am so happy and so lucky that I have been under Dr Raza's care. He is an expert in his field, and always devotes more time during consultations to explain everything so that you can make informed decisions about your health. Going forward I will be seeing Dr Raza to monitor my female health.

The initial consultation was an evening appointment and I considered it to be expensive. The consultants fee (Dr Kadhim) was £250 (equating to £1000 per hour) Administration fee £35 (for what) and an e.c.g which took all of 5 minutes was £111. Total £396. I was promised by the consultant that Cardioversion would happen before my holiday in mid December but received excuses from admin staff why this could not happen. I kept pestering and eventually received notice at 3.00pm the day before that Cardioversion would occur at 07.30 the following morning. The actual Cardioversion went without hitch, the consultant Dr Menown and his staff were excellent, facilities were good, food was ample and all went well. So do not take no for an answer.

Very pleasing experience. I was given plenty of time, and had a thorough examination of my ears, with the removal of wax, followed by a full hearing test. I returned a couple of weeks later, and having been shown several different hearing aids, went for ones that fit into the ear, with no wires or pieces behind the ear. I now have them on a months trial to see how I get on with them. I was quoted a price, which I understand I will pay if these are the correct ones for me, but only when I am totally satisfied. There is then a 3 monthly check included in the price. I believe I can try others if these are not right for me, and Mr Clive who I saw, was most helpful and understanding of a lady who hated the idea of wearing hearing aids!

I recently had my final appointment with Simon Howard following my recovery from a ruptured Achilles tendon. Sinon has been so motivated, passionate and driven in helping me return to competitive badminton. I couldn’t have wished for a better physiotherapist to get me through this injury, and the number of times simon has helped me through both physical and mentally tough spots in my recovery have been invaluable. Later on in my treatment I still had some issues with nervous “dead spots” around my surgical site, and I was very helpfully introduced to acupuncture, which I believe had a big physical and psychological impact in recovering sensation around my ankle and Achilles tendon. I was seen at breast clinic as a precautionary investigation I was nervous but I was met with such friendly natural staff which instantlymmade me feel at ease i was checked by the Dr then sent for a mammogram and then aent for an Uktrasound scan I am pleased to report that everything was normal and no concerns I thanked the dr profusely when he told me that everything was normal and i spoke highly to him about my having all the results within the time i was there I cannot thank you enough and thank the NHS for sending me there as I would not have ever wanted to wait for breast cancer screening results so to have them on the same night was so reassuring Thank you a nmillion times S

I almost don’t know where to start. From my first meeting, I was filled with confidence, and felt at ease. This was my second total knee replacement, the first one (with a different consultant) had been quite difficult due to no one’s fault. My second knee with Mr Barksfield could not have been mare different. I am now 8 weeks post op and have virtually no pain, can walk normally and feel like I did 6-8 years ago. Stairs are a breeze, I can walk normally up and down slopes and intend to play golf this weekend. I could not be more delighted with the outcome. A massive thank you to Mr Barksfield and his team.
