Dr. Justin Garner

I was very lucky to have my lung procedure at RBH carried out by Dr. Justin Garner and his team, his assuring words and humble personality made me relax and trust his ability prior to the operation. I'm grateful to him for the massive improvement of my daily life activities and the ability to enjoy my life. I have always found Mr Garner to be extremely helpful, kind and reassuring to me during my illness. He was the very first person who contacted me from the Royal Brompton and I found his welcoming attitude very helpful after receiving results from another hospital that I had suspicious nodules in my lungs which would be difficult to treat.

I received really excellent care from Dr. Garner. In the initial consultation he took the time to explain the procedure to me in detail and answered all my questions with patience and consideration. On the day, he and his team at the Royal Brompton Hospital, did everything to make me feel at ease despite the strange surroundings. I felt I was in excellent hands and, in the end, the result was better than I had hoped. I am very grateful to Dr. Garner for his amazing care and skill - he is a physician of the highest order.

Yesterday I had my last appointment with Dr Justin Garner and I felt sad saying good bye to a wonderful and caring doctor. He made me feel that I was the only patient he was looking after and I am sure every one of his patients must feel the same. His explanations were clear and reassuring.

The visit was a regular annual visit. Dr. Garner is always very pleasant and enquiring about anything I may have a concern with. I have found Dr. Garner extremely helpful and efficient even with medical issues other than for Lungs.

Dr Garner was so clear in how he explained my problem. I had been very anxious prior to this visit but he put me at ease with his calm, gentle and kind manner. Everything was explained clearly. I was seen in clinic and it only took a couple of weeks from clinic to MRI to Dr Garner actually calling me to give me the results. For this I thank him very much.

I have nothing but praise and gratitude for Dr Garner, his positivity and kindness definitely helped me through this diagnoses and his knowledge and understanding helped me make the right choices regarding my surgery and follow-up treatment. Dr Garner is always happy to listen and explain what is happening. I feel I could not be in better hands, his positive attitude rubbed off on myself and my family. Knowing he is taking care of me for my surveillance checks after having a successful surgery gives all of my family great peace of mind. I honestly can't thank him enough.

As always when I meet with Justin for my appointment he is always professional and gives me the time to express how I am feeling of any concerns that I have about my health. He never rushes me and he demonstrates an exceptional bedside manner.

Justin is a very caring doctor who goes out of his way to ensure that his patients are at ease, participate in all discussions and fully understand all available options for their care.
