Royal Brompton Private Consulting Rooms, part of Guy's and St Thomas' Specialist Care, is located in the Old Fire Station building, providing access to private outpatient care. Here, patients can book a consultation to see our experts in heart, lung and sleep medicine.
We also offer a full range of private imaging services, investigations and supporting services, including:
- Royal Brompton Diagnostic Centre, with a full suite of heart and lung diagnostic tests, including cardiac MRI, CT scans, SPECT-CT, echocardiography, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine and ultrasound
- non-invasive cardiology monitoring and lung function
- interventional bronchoscopy
- cardiorespiratory physiotherapy service

I ordered the salmon en croute but only got the en croute. Not the end of the world!
Despite being apprehensive, I was completely reassured by DrAaour and his team.
The appointment was well organised and the video consultation worked smoothly. The reminder email was clear and helpful, including the joining instructions and advice to keep my phone nearby in case of any connection issue. Communication with the private practice team was also good. Gareth was helpful in arranging the appointment and clarifying whether it would be face-to-face or by video. I appreciated being offered an earlier appointment when the online booking did not appear to have completed properly. Overall, the process was professional, efficient and reassuring. The only small difficulty was that the booking portal did not seem to show my original appointment correctly, but this was resolved quickly by email.
Good facilities and every member of staff was caring, considerate and helpful
The visit was fine and the staff helped me find the correct place for my appointment. Royal Brompton is quite difficult to navigate round for a patient on their first visit
I was having a final meeting with my surgeon Mr Cesare Quarto following my bypass surgery
The Consulting rooms were very well presented and clean. I did love the Hot Choclate.
