Nestled in the heart of Chelsea and a stone’s throw away from London’s famous King’s Road, Royal Brompton Hospital is at the forefront of advancing heart and lung care.
Royal Brompton Private Consulting Rooms, part of Guy's and St Thomas' Specialist Care, is located in the Old Fire Station building, providing access to private outpatient care. Here, patients can book a consultation to see our experts in heart, lung and sleep medicine.
We also offer a full range of private imaging services, investigations and supporting services, including:
- Royal Brompton Diagnostic Centre, with a full suite of heart and lung diagnostic tests, including cardiac MRI, CT scans, SPECT-CT, echocardiography, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine and ultrasound
- non-invasive cardiology monitoring and lung function
- interventional bronchoscopy
- cardiorespiratory physiotherapy service
For convenience, you can choose your preferred appointment at one of three London locations:

i went thrpugh major surgery on my right lung and the car3 us secons to none i stayed on the reginal wilson Ward where the care i reciv3d was fantastic and the facilites were very clean and the staff were amazing not just the nursjng staff but the cleaners and the food staff excellent service
All the staff I had contact with during my visit were very pleasant (reception, nurse, phlebotomist, respiratory physiotherapist). I felt the waiting area to be very small, which left me feeling claustrophobic. Otherwise all areas appeared clean and tidy.
I had a video call rather than a physical visit. I'm very grateful for the option to still have a video call
I thought the Royal Brompton was very clean and tidy and calm. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful. Excellent hospital.
