About Mr Cesare Quarto
Mr Cesare Quarto is a highly regarded cardiothoracic surgeon at the Royal Brompton Hospital. He has extensive experience in all aspects of cardiac surgery but specialises in complex aortic surgery and coronary artery bypass surgery.
He graduated with honours from the University of Naples in Italy before relocating to London in 2007 to train with world-renowned cardiac surgeons at the Royal Brompton Hospital. He has jointly received three international awards for presentations on how to treat mitral regurgitation in patients unsuitable for open-heart surgery, illustrating the use of the world's first transcatheter heart valve implantation programme at the Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals.

I recently in short order discovered i had CAD, and after an angiogram in the Royal Brompton was referred to Cesare for CABG. He came to discuss with me the procedure, timescale, etc etc. All very clear and professional.
