Surrey Cardiovascular Clinic was founded in 2006 by cardiologists Edward Leatham and Peter Clarkson, based on the concept that in the fast-moving area of cardiovascular medicine there needed to be an easily accessible centre of excellence in the South East of England, positioned outside hospitals. It brings together a multidisciplinary team of professionals and administration required for modern care.

At SCVC we offer sophisticated healthscreening and expert medical care, combining decades of experience with the latest technologies for early diagnosis, investigation, prevention and treatment of cardiovascular and cancer issues.

Our consultants are all senior and highly experienced medically qualified experts in their field. They work, or have worked within the NHS across the region, as well as form our medical faculty. Most of our experts operate their own independent medical practice and use the one stop facilities at SCVC, alongside a wider group of healthcare professionals and sub-specialists based in one location. This unique ‘chambers style’ approach within one specialist organisation promotes expert opinion from subspecialty consultants as well as a wider range of specialist healthcare options for our patients.
