A truly exceptional consultant and Service - I cannot recommend her highly enough. I recently saw Miss Meththananda following some gynaecological symptoms, and from the moment I walked in I felt completely at ease. She has a rare quality that is hard to put into words, a warmth and calmness that immediately puts you at ease, even when you're anxious or facing something intimate and uncomfortable. She was incredibly thorough, explaining everything clearly and making sure I understood each step. When it came to a procedure during the consultation itself, I genuinely barely had time to feel nervous, she was quick, skilled, and reassuring throughout. The fact that she was able to assess and treat me in a single appointment rather than sending me away and making me wait showed real competence and care for her patients. I left feeling heard, looked after, and genuinely impressed. I recently had a consultation with Dr Iranthi Meththananda, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. From the moment we spoke, I noticed she was incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, and reassuring. She took the time to thoroughly explain my condition, helping me make sense of what I had been experiencing and answering all of my questions in a clear and understandable way. She also talked me through the various treatment options available, ensuring I felt informed and confident about the next steps. What stood out most was her genuine empathy and kindness. My husband and I had been trying for a baby for 17 years we had tried everything including 5 rounds of IVF I had exhausted all my options the feeling of helplessness was overwhelming. I came to speak with Iranthi a while ago now and I finally was given some hope not just from a medical view but from someone who actually took the time to listen to me someone that actually cared about the way I was feeling she brought back all the hope that I had lost so many years ago, there was no promises just self belief and some confidence back I had also lost I can't describe how I felt that day after so long of not being heard! I tried letrezole and I did have to lose some weight I have pcos so weight isn't easy to manage I did go on a weight loss programme and I lost 4 stone 11lbs I had a surgical procedure which was the very last thing that could possibly help us as I had reached my ceiling of care there was nothing left! I truly believe just your patience Iranthi and the fact you listened to me and I felt heard gave me that last push I needed before losing all hope completely. I tried the letrezole which worked I fell pregnant but I unfortunately didn't go to term that pregnancy. Although there was nothing left to do for me medically I had the confidence to lose weight and somehow I fell pregnant naturally 11 months later I was no longer Iranthi's patient but when I found out I was panicking I had severe anxiety I wasn't being referred for help and I felt lost I emailed Iranthi and explained the situation she arranged to meet with me asap which I am so grateful for I need medication...

It could not have been better. She listened carefully, created an open, trusting, and supportive space, explained everything thoroughly, and left no questions unanswered. She was also genuinely attentive to aftercare following the appointment, which made me feel very well looked after throughout the entire process.

I was very well looked after by an amazing team and DR for a surgery I had recently. Everyone is so welcoming, everything is explained and you can ask as many questions as you like, also felt extremely safe under the care of the Dr who carried out my procedure.
