Mr. Hisham Abouzeid has over 25 years experience as a gynaecologist. Having graduated from medical school in 1983, with over 20 years experience, he became a member of the Royal College of obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 1994. Mr. Abouzeid has continued his medical education, completing a masters degree in Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopy from Surrey University, The Royal College of Gynaecologists certificate in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery and the accreditation for colposcopy from the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology. Mr. Abouzeid is also the lead for gynaecological oncology at the Pennine Acute Hospital NHS Trust in Greater Manchester.
Mr. Abouzeid is highly skilled as a gynaecologist, but also in major abdominal, vaginal and laparoscopic surgery, of which he teaches and mentors colleagues in undertaking such procedures. Minor cosmetic gynaecological procedures are also part of his skillset and he has many years experience in leading his NHS Trust’s colposcopic services, reviewing abnormal cervical smear findings.
Mr. Abouzeid sees patients face-to-face as well as via telephone and video consultations, and welcomes patients for both consultation and or gynaecological interventions.
