Miss Niharika Dhir

Miss Niharika Dhir is a Clinical Audiologist at Harley Street Hearing. She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and specialises in diagnostic audiology, hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings, hearing rehabilitation and earwax management.

Miss Dhir graduated from De Montfort University with a First Class Honours degree in Healthcare Science (Audiology). During her studies, she achieved the highest final-year research project mark within her graduating cohort. Her research explored hearing loss stigma and its impact on older adults with age-related hearing loss, focusing on the social, emotional and psychological effects of hearing impairment.

Throughout her training, she gained experience in comprehensive hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings, hearing rehabilitation, speech testing and earwax management. She is trained in both microsuction and aural irrigation earwax removal techniques. Her clinical interests include hearing aid technology, personalised hearing rehabilitation and speech understanding in challenging listening environments. She also provides consultations in English, Punjabi and Hindi.

Miss Dhir is committed to evidence-based hearing healthcare and ongoing professional development, with a particular interest in advances in hearing technology and patient-centred audiological care.
