After a consultation and the various tests Professor Persad recommended the Rezum operation for my enlarged benign prostate. He clearly explained the procedure reassured me about what benefits I could expect. The surgery itself was very smooth and efficient and in recovery he was there to brief me on how it had gone. I needed a catheter for two weeks and I did find this more uncomfortable than I had expected, and the two weeks after it was removed weren’t much better, but suddenly after 5 weeks the improvements were almost instantaneous- with a flow rate just like I last experienced as a 20 year old, with no discomfort, as I now am able to completely empty my bladder when I need to. I would have no hesitation in recommending Professor Persad and the Rezum procedure.

was very informative on the condition , suggested alternatives to improve condition that may work (non surgical), I was keen to come off medication and not take additional tablet so will try these over next 6 mnths
