I had my operation at Cheltenham Urology dept under Mr Nettleton who was superb throughout The operation was a success and at no time did I require any painkillers I attended the outpatient dept this morning and again saw Mr Nettleton and his nurse Sarah and again a very pleasant experience I can’t fault a single thing from start to finish

I am very pleased that I referred to Mr Nettleton. From our first meeting, he was friendly, attentive, and understanding regarding my concerns about Prostate Cancer, given my immediate family history, and rising PSA level, and arranged for an urgent MRI. He was thorough in explaining the way forward, emphasising the multi-disciplinary team approach and sent me a copy of his documented meeting report directly afterward, including urology plan. Immediately following the MRI Radiology report, I met again with Mr Nettleton, who was kind and sympathetic in explaining to my wife and I that prostate cancer is highly likely, pending biopsy which is upcoming. Mr Nettleton made us feel at ease, and stressed that the cancer should be curable, given that it appears localised. Mr Nettleton again documented the meeting and plan which I received a copy of the same day, along with Mr Nettleton’s best wishes. I look forward to meeting with Mr Nettleton again.

I have had several consultations with Jeremy over the past few years and have always been extremely satisfied with the advice and care received. His style is friendly and approachable, during consultations his explanations are clear and he gives the patient time to ask questions and confirm their understanding. On several occasions Jeremy has called me back out of office hours to answer queries, he really seems to care for his patient’s wellbeing. I have found his advice to be honest and balanced. Rather than simply extolling the value of his areas of expertise he proposed alternative treatment options for my particular situation. I would unreservedly recommend his services.

Concerns held were advanced age related but alleviated by Mr. Nettleton’s. assurances, and recovery accorded with his treatment expectations.
