From the very beginning, from having my consultation to post op with Dr Ilczyszyn he made me feel heard & seen! He explained everything very clearly for me to understand from telling me the process of the operation and the reasons of why I could have been struggling with weight loss for so long! I knew when I got off the phone with him that he would be the consultant I wanted to do my surgery. He came to see me on the morning of my surgery and made me feel right at ease. I knew I was in good hands. Following the procedure he visited me before discharge and told me how well the surgery went. He is so kind and caring and I feel he truly understood my struggles and wanted to help me. Whilst I was off of work, he was very easily contactable as I needed a letter from him for my place of work as I was struggling to get paid sick leave. He did this and made me feel as I wasn’t bothering him at all. I would recommend him to do anyones surgery and I will always be grateful of his support, kindness and sensitivity. I feel eternally thankful for the care he has given me. Thank you again! You’ve changed my life. 5 stone down and counting!

A really good experience - procedure very clearly explained

Mr Ilczyszyn is true gentleman. He was excellent at explaining what was going to happen and how you will feel. He said he would be available should I need to ask anything .

He came to see me before the op, went though everything and checked i was still happy to go ahead. Came and checked in after surgery and the next day.

My experience was from the time arrived to the time I left the care I received was 10/10 I would highly recommend this hospital and doctor Mr andrei llczyszyn everyone made me feel at ease and hopeful this new tool will change my life

Throughout my consultation I felt reassured that I was in ‘safe hands’. Despite my symptoms not appearing to be conclusive as to the issue, Mr. Ilczyszyn listened to my explanations and then provided clear options for treatment / moving forward which all made perfect sense.
