I had a Holep procedure. My wife and I were very happy with Mr Lees approach which was fiendly and open, whilst retaining that all important professionalism which immeadiately gave us confidence. He took time to explain my condition and the procedure to rectify it, answering our questions and providing comprehensive explanations of the procedure and potential outcome timescales. I do have two observations to make, which although not directly atribulable to Mr Lee, he may wish to take action on. As a private patient Mr Lee did warn me that I may not get a private room. This I accepted as I was keen to get my condition dealt with. What I did not expect was to be placed in ward designed for four beds which had a fifth bed squeezed into it, reducing the space for all three of we patients on that side. The staff, who were lovely, were embarrased by this situation and apologised, even though it was not of their making. On discharge, I would have appreciated more information on how to manage my urine leaks and been provided with more pads until such time as I could organise a supply robust enough to manage my situation. I first met dr su min lee for a consultation appointment where he examined me and gave me my surgical options. I then went back to see him for my procedure extremely nervous. I was given a nice private room where my partner could sit with me I was then met by the staff and dr su min lee who explained the procedure. I went into the operating room extremely nervous and the staff did everything possible to make me relax and feel comfortable. My procedure went extremely well I was then taken back to my room where I was cared for and fed. The nurses were extremely responsive when I needed them. I can’t thank dr su min lee and the other staff enough.
