About Mr Angus Campbell
Mr. Campbell is a highly accomplished Consultant Urologist with a special focus on benign prostate enlargement (BPH), andrology, infertility, general urology, and reconstructive surgery. Holding an MBBS and FRCSUrol, and registered with the General Medical Council, Mr. Campbell completed his post-graduate training in the Thames Valley region. He was awarded membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2012 and ranked first in the national selection for Urological specialty training, which he completed in 2021, subsequently becoming a Urological Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Mr. Campbell has developed specialised expertise in Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP) surgery and endourology through training at Luton & Dunstable Hospital, where he refined his skills in performing HoLEP procedures in 2022. Later that year, he was appointed to a substantive NHS consultant post in Milton Keynes to setup the HoLEP and bladder outflow surgery service. His clinical expertise spans all areas of endourology, andrology, and urological oncology, ensuring comprehensive care for a wide range of urological conditions.
Active in academia, Mr. Campbell has presented his work at several national and international conferences and has first-author publications in peer-reviewed journals. He also contributes to the scientific community by reviewing submitted manuscripts before publication. Hi. I'm grateful to the NHS and Mr Campbell for speedy diagnosis which was fortunately negative. May I suggest consideration being given to using an update by telephone. The benefits of which I hope are evident e.g. efficiency/ pragmatic etc.
I've been seeing Mr. Campbell for an ongoing prostatitis condition. He's clearly very expert and has a very friendly manner. I've had a number of adverse reactions to different antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs which we discussed at some length in a follow up consultation to agree on the best way forward.
It’s comforting to get reassurance every 6 months.I hope these reassurance calls continue
Mr Campbell provides professional support and advice. He clearly listens to concerns and has been accommodating in arranging further tests to help with the anxiety of a cancer surveillance programme.
Very reassuring and although confused with the medication, I felt at ease
I have always been well looked after by the urology team.
The only slight grumble was my being placed on a ward where sleep was problematic because of snoring. That's of little consequence when set against the fact that the quality of medicine was excellent and the operation achieved everything I hoped it would. Thankyou.
I think it would have been better to have talked to the oncology team at the same time. I now have to wait two weeks to be able to ask about life expectancy etc.
