About Dr Edward Cetti
Dr Edward Cetti is a Consultant Respiratory Physician with 15 years of experience as a Consultant. During this time he has led the Respiratory department at East Surrey Hospital, Redhill, then their Cancer Division, before then being appointed as the Medical Director (Chief Medical Officer)in 2019. He sits on the Trust Executive Board and holds responsibility for the effectiveness and safety of clinical care across the organisation.
His medical training was at Cambridge University and University College London and his specialist training was across hospitals in Surrey and Sussex, as well as St George's and the Royal Brompton Hospitals in London.
Dr Cetti specialises in a full range of respiratory/lung conditions, with particular expertise in investigating and treating breathlessness or cough, asthma and other airway diseases, and investigating suspected lung cancer. This includes CAA respiratory assessments for pilots.

Dr Cetti had reviewed my earlier scans so was able to pinpoint the issue with my breathing. After a week monitoring my peak flow I returned and he confirmed the diagnosis of asthma. I was very pleased the issue was sorted so quickly and he prescribed an inhaler and gave me clear advice about going forward. I am so grateful to him for his help.
