Aruna Munasinghe is excellent in his mannerism of dealing with his patients. He is very courteous, knowledgeable and takes his time to explain everything. Questions are answered fully without having to rush through them.

I really felt safe with Dr Munasinghe. He explained everything in details and I felt comfortable with what I had to undertake. Very approachable and happy to answer any question.

Mr Munasinghe is an incredibly friendly, empathetic, professional and caring consultant who goes out of his way to explain the risks and consequences of any treatment. For my recent gall bladder operation, he was absolutely superb in describing what had happened as part of the diagnosis and the different steps that he would propose in terms of the operation and post operation care programme. He sets everything out in an easy to understand fashion, supported by other pictures and materials which underline the process which he intends to follow. On the day of the operation itself, he was caring and reassuring and couldn't have gone further to assuage any concerns or nervousness. After the operation had been successful, he then advised on appropriate next steps to enhance the convalescence. Overall, he is absolutely first class, both as a consultant and as a fellow human being - inspirational. He is also wonderfully supported by Ana who was professional and helpful around the practicalities such as appointments and paperwork - they are a great team!

I generally don’t think I’ll ever be able to thank my consultant and the whole team enough for what they’ve done for me. Choosing to have surgery was such a massive decision. I was excited, terrified, emotional and probably asked a million questions along the way but from the very beginning I felt listened to, reassured and completely cared for. I never felt like I was just another name on a list. My worries were taken seriously, everything was explained properly and I always felt like I was in safe hands. Nothing at all was too much trouble. The care I received around my surgery was incredible. Those little moments of reassurance honestly meant more than they probably realised. This surgery has already changed so much for me, I’m only 7 weeks post op. It wasn’t just about loosing weight. It was about finally doing something for myself, getting some of my confidence back and feeling like I was taking control of my life again. To have had such an amazing consultant and team beside me through something so huge is something I’ll always be grateful for. I will never forget the care I received and I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough.
