My experience at The Cobham Clinic was Very good with friendly, helpful and caring staff. I was also kept well informed throughout the whole experience. Four weeks after the operation I am definitely feeling considerably better than before the operation and am continuing to make good progress. On comment I would like to make, the Physio came the day after the op and discharged me on how I felt at that time, but the following day, after I guess the anaesthetic had worn off, I was finding movement far more difficult and painful and would probably have benefited more from their expertise.

All the staff were great, nothing was too much trouble. If necessary I would choose the Cobham Clinic again.

This was my first time visiting Congham clinic and it was very pleasurable. Staff were very attentive and I was made to feel comfortable from start to finish.

High standard from the time the operation was booked.

I received a friendly reception on arrival and was settled into my room. The consultant and the anaesthetist came and explained what would be happening and when I was likely to go theatre. After the procedure I was returned to my room feeling comfortable and relaxed. The nursing staff before and after the operation were very good. My only gripe as a self paying patient is that I expected better dietary products. I had site of the general hospital menu then I was shown the private patients menu. If I had known what I would be getting as a private patient menu user, I would have taken my food from the main hospital menu. The private patient menu should be scrapped unless improvements are made.

Everyone who took care of me during my stay were very professional and took good care of me from the moment I entered the cobham Clinic to the time I left. Everyone was very friendly especially the theatre staff who also added plenty of humour!! This put me greatly at ease before I was put under the general anaesthetic. Well done to all concerned and thakk you for taking good care of me.

All the staff were very friendly and efficient. As soon as I pressed my buzzer they were there straight away. The whole atmosphere was very relaxed. I am a profoundly deaf Cochlear Implant user, they all spoke slowly and clearly for me. Kindness and compassion goes a long way and costs nothing.

Quite a relief to be able to come here rather than Lister in Stevenage. The nurses were very friendly and actually asked if I was in any pain and asked me to rate the pain on a scale of 1 or 10 and were ready to help. The bed was comfortable and food was good. I will be back in April for HoLEP with Mr Khan who was also very helpful and approachable.
