My interactions with the doctors have been pleasant, and I felt like I was in trusted hands. I was very impressed by the professionalism, and my overall experience has been excellent.
Fast, clean, efficient. Nurses could be a little more professional
I reached out based on the great reviews for Dr. Rahman. I am especially interested in resolving my gut issues with nutritional intervention. I sent them the following question: "The thing I would like to know before booking is what his nutritional training is like? Is it the standard nutritional training everyone gets in med school or has he had additional training?" The response from them was: "Dr Rahman has advised that he runs one of the largest intestinal failure units in the country so has as much knowledge about clinical nutrition as any UK physician. If the patient wants to talk about fad diets for IBS then he would be better suited seeing a nutritionist." ...So basically just another doctor with a God complex who thinks being interested in looking at diet for gut issues is stupid and a fad. Maybe these guys are good if you need some sort of surgical intervention but it seems like they're not going to be the best fit if you're trying to get an understanding for why you're having issues in the first place and resolve the source issue. Based on this, I chose not to work with them.
I was nervous about the procedure but my experience was excellent. Dr Rahman was wonderful, as was the anethetist , and all the nurses. The hospital feels like a very smart hotel! Everything felt very calm, considered and I felt very well cared for.
All the staff have been incredibly helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Have been seen on time for every appointment and can’t praise them enough!
I was very anxious about the gastroscopy but I experienced no difficulties with it whatsoever due to my doctor’s management of the procedure for which I am very grateful.
