Dr Mani Naghibi, Consultant Gastroenterologist, currently works within St Mark's Hospital in Northwest London. He is very experienced in the treatment of heartburn, reflux disorders, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, constipation, and nutrition.
Dr Naghibi qualified from Guy's, Kings and St Thomas' School of Medicine in London. Following his qualification, he specialised in gastroenterology and internal medicine in hospitals across London and Wessex. He further specialised at University Hospital Southampton, while simultaneously gaining a research degree from the same institution. His research focused on nutrition for patients with cancer, resulting in him being awarded an MD for his efforts.
Dr Naghibi's work has been recognised throughout his career, being awarded in 2014 the Shire Prize for innovation in Gastroenterology, and in 2017 was given the NHS Clinical Excellence Award. His current research focus is the effects of nutrition in cancer and non-cancer patients. He is regularly invited to speak and present his findings at conferences around the globe. He is also a member of several professional organisations including the British Society of Gastroenterology, the British Association of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, and the British Artificial Nutrition Survey.

Dr Naghibi took his time in listening to my concerns and was able to outline a comprehensive diagnostic plan which he made sure I understood and agreed with.
