Excellent communication around test results, treatment plan and next steps
Dr F.Rahman is an excellent consultant, he clearly walks you through all the available options and explains the pro/cons of each. The aim was not only to rectify the issue but to make sure I am feeling well and he is happy to reassess if needed. I would highly recommend Dr Rahman and give him 5 of 5.
Very friendly and caring. Focused totally on my care and getting to the right answers. Has also put a future care plan in place
Dr Rahman was very thorough in his examination and followed up effectively after my surgery. I would definitely recommend him.
Very professional and clear
I reached out based on the great reviews for Dr. Rahman. I am especially interested in resolving my gut issues with nutritional intervention. I sent them the following question: "The thing I would like to know before booking is what his nutritional training is like? Is it the standard nutritional training everyone gets in med school or has he had additional training?" The response from them was: "Dr Rahman has advised that he runs one of the largest intestinal failure units in the country so has as much knowledge about clinical nutrition as any UK physician. If the patient wants to talk about fad diets for IBS then he would be better suited seeing a nutritionist." ...So basically just another doctor with a God complex who thinks being interested in looking at diet for gut issues is stupid and a fad. Maybe these guys are good if you need some sort of surgical intervention but it seems like they're not going to be the best fit if you're trying to get an understanding for why you're having issues in the first place and resolve the source issue. Based on this, I chose not to work with them.
Dr Rahman was brilliant. I'd highly recommend seeing him.
Dr Rahman couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly! After years of problems with my gut, I have finally been given some answers and treatment and all in a very kind, thoughtful manner.
I am very grateful to Dr Rahman for the way he has managed the investigation of my condition. I have felt very reassured.
I found Dr Rahman to be very nice chap. His diagnosis was accurate and certainly more so than the 2 other doctors i had seen. I underwent a colonoscopy with Dr Rahman which i can honestly say was completely painless and professional . In 5 years time when I need another one, I will most certainly seek him out .
