It is safe to say that when I met Dr Komath, I had absolutely no hope left. I had spent 16 years in pain that only got worse, was living on a blended diet, losing weight and had been told by my local maxillofacial department on the NHS that nothing else could be done to help me, but Dr Komath changed everything. He listened in a way no one else had. For the first time, someone took me seriously. He carefully considered my history, my scans, my symptoms and most importantly, the toll this was taking on my life. He never once rushed me. He never once dismissed my experiences, and he never insisted we try one more round of something that had already failed me before. Instead, he treated me with compassion and respect, and with a level of care I hadn’t experienced in over a decade. He didn’t offer false hope. He didn’t promise any miracles. But what he did offer was a plan. A way forward. And a refusal to leave me stuck where I was. That alone meant more than I could ever put into words. Dr Komath is, without question, one of the most skilled and respected Maxillofacial surgeons in the country. He takes on some of the most complex, high-risk cases - and he does so with quiet confidence, deep integrity, and a genuine commitment to doing what’s right for his patients. I am unbelievably lucky to be under his care and trusted him wholeheartedly to perform my bilateral jaw joint replacement surgery. I will never be able to thank him enough. For his skill, his kindness, and for giving me back something I thought I’d lost for good - hope. i underwent a radical prostatectomy for a grade 2 c prostate carcinoma. using the da Vinci robotic system by Professor Greg Shaw. I found him to be easy to talk to and he explained my surgical and non surgical options at our first appointment. He gave me confidence and also explained the possible complications from surgery. I opted for the Robotic surgery which was expertly performed. The first post operative day I was sleepy but absolutely without discomfort. I live some distance from London and as a result I was given the option of a two night stay. The second day i did have a little discomfort to my upper back but it was easily resolved with paracetamol. I was warned by Prof Shaw that this would happen and it was due to the gas that was infused into the abdomen to help with visualisation of the prostate and to to reduce the bleeding. The mild discomfort was gone by day 4 and I was fully mobile by day 2. It is early days and the urinary catheter was removed just under a week ago and although I can feel he need to pass urine at night so I remain mostly dry the sensation has only returned a little during the day but every day is better than the previous one. In short the surgery for me was easy and the post operative course has been good. The urinary problems I was warned about and I feel sure it will be only a week further before I am dry. i would recommend Prof Shaw to you without hesitation he is a most pleasant gentleman and I have confidence in him both as a communicator and as a surgeon.

In June 2025 my wife's Bladder Diverticulum effectively perforated. She was in severe pain, initially being cared for at the PRUH in Farnborough where she was kept for almost 3 weeks. During that time, the Urology team were unable to correctly treat her perforation thinking that it had healed when it had not. This resulted in her contracting Sepsis and needing a catheter for almost 5 months. We sought further help privately, which is when we were introduced to Mr Arun Sahai. He was a breath of fresh air. He carefully and actively listened to exactly what my wife had been through over the previous few months (which included contracting Sepsis in hospital). He immediately put both herself and me at ease and gave us the confidence he would be able to fix her. Mr Sahai operated on her and it went perfectly, with the diverticulum being successfully removed. She is now catheter free and living a normal life. This is all down to Mr Sahai. He essentially saved her life and has enabled us to get our lives back on track. We cannot thank him enough and recommend him extremely highly, he is a master in his field. He also has a calm and informal bedside manner, explains things in plain English and is extremely approachable.

I feel very fortunate to have had my chemotherapy and radiotherapy at GenesisCare Cambridge. The standard of care is excellent and everyone at the clinic is friendly and welcoming. While spotlessly clean with fantastic facilities the centre doesn't feel overly clinical. I really like the holistic approach to treatment at GenesisCare and particularly benefited from the exercise medicine clinic which took me from gym phobic to regular gym goer with huge benefits for my physical and emotional wellbeing. GenesisCare go above and beyond to make treatment less arduous, from providing really comprehensive support to prevent or mitigate unpleasant side effects to offering a complimentary taxi service to and from radiotherapy sessions. Another plus of GenesisCare is that the consultations are never rushed - there is always time for questions and I particularly appreciated my consultant taking time to talk me through the treatment options and providing really clear answers to all my questions.

Dr. Jayaram has been very kind, professional and attentive throughout the consultation and was very thorough when examining my eyes. He was reassuring as he explained the medical condition of my eyes in clear and simple terms and the options that may be available to me in the future. He as very patient in having to repeat things to me. I really appreciated his excellent manner. He made me feel at ease. I would highly recommend Dr. Jayaram. If in the future I need to reassurance I am looking for, I would definitely arrange to see Dr. Jayaram again. I also received the report of my consultation the same evening. Ms Maddie Kurri the practice manager was excellent throughout in communicating with me and arranging my appointment. Thank you both. The hospital very clean and orderly. The staff at the main reception desk were very friendly and helpful and also the nurse who I saw on arrival you did my initial tests.

This was my first visit to this lovely private GP practice. Lots of parking and ground floor facility was the first tick. Lovely big bright windows another tick creating brightness in what is usually not available in most other medical establishments. No sooner on the door I was greeted with smiles and courtesy from the lovely, friendly receptionists who welcomed me and offered me refreshments. Plenty of books and magazines if I wanted but didn't need them as I was taken at my exact appointment time, another big tick. My GP, Dr Fiona Moore came out to greet me and as I'd completed an online form with my reason for attending she was on the ball with what was required. She was so relaxed and friendly I felt like I'd known her for a long time and I felt at ease answering any questions. Having examined me she knew what the issue was and reassured me. Overall a brilliant experience.

I recently visited for an up and coming procedure I have booked in for the 12th. Dr Agha was detailed and thorough during my F2F visit. He communicates well and listened to all my thoughts, he advises well-equally is as realistic with surgery and the results. The location itself on Harley Street is pristine all of the staff and friendly and welcoming. The clinic is very easy to find- I came from Euston. It was a straight forward journey for me coming from Shrewsbury. Considering I travelled alone, it was quite enjoyable. Really looking forward to my procedure, having waited around 7 years for it after having my little girl and not wanting to jump into having surgery while she was so young. My patient advisor has also been brilliant along the way, thank you Jenny.

Mr Parmar saw me after referral for root pain under an old crown, which escalated some what after my dental referral. I was in a lot of pain and very anxious given that my dentist could not deal with the issue due to proximity to the nerve and facial numbness. Mr Parmar instantly reassured me and fitted me in for surgery the day after my initial consultation, which was lucky due to timing just before the Xmas break. The team on the OCD ward incredibly kind caring and compassionate. It's like being part of a family, including the other 5 patients here. Although, it was challenging at times, I've learnt so much about my condition and I now realise that my beliefs does not necessarily mean it's true. During the consultation he was very helpful, open, listening to me, and examining the mobility of my arm thoroughly, yet gently. He told me what his diagnosis was, "frozen shoulder", explaining it in great detail to me from the disease process and treatments, to the prognosis and possible outcomes.
