About Dr Jakub Lagan
Dr Jakub Lagan is a highly experienced Consultant Cardiologist with sub-specialist expertise in advanced cardiac imaging. He currently practises at the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals, and sees private patients at Spire Murrayfield Hospital, Wirral, and Venturi Cardiology.
Dr Lagan completed his medical degree at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow, Poland, with part of his studies undertaken at the University of Antwerp through the prestigious Socrates/Erasmus Scholarship. He undertook specialist cardiology training in the North West of England and later completed a PhD in cardiac imaging at the University of Manchester. He also completed a fellowship at the Royal Brompton Hospital, London.
Fluent in both English and Polish, Dr Lagan provides comprehensive care in all aspects of general cardiology. His areas of expertise include breathlessness, chest pain, palpitations, blackouts, and complex conditions such as heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular disease, and inherited cardiomyopathies.

I have felt very re assurred throughout treatment. You really feel like he is going above and beyond to do the right thing by you. He has eased my concerns and worries throughout by explaining all options in whatever amount of detail you require.

We often have clinics running concurrently that make it easier for patients to see both of us on the same day if needed.
