About Mr Ernest Barlow-Kearsley
Mr. Ernest Barlow-Kearsley is a highly experienced podiatric surgeon. He began his training in South Africa, where he obtained a Higher National Diploma in Podiatric Medicine. In 1993, he relocated to the UK, where he continued his education at Brighton University, earning a BSc (Hons) in Podiatric Studies in 1996.
In 2001, Mr. Barlow-Kearsley achieved his Fellowship in Podiatric Surgery (FCPodS), and he completed a rigorous three-year post-fellowship training program in podiatric surgery in 2004. His training included roles at Doncaster West PCT, Homerton University NHS Trust, and Erewash NHS PCT, where he gained extensive experience in both acute and community-based podiatric surgical centres. This comprehensive training and experience allowed him to obtain his Certificate of Completion in Surgical Training (CCST) from the Faculty of Podiatric Surgery in 2004.
In July 2023, Mr Barlow-Kearsley retired from the NHS, he currently works with Healthshare, Riverside Clinic, Brentford privately, in addition to support the eRS waiting list initiative. At Woking Nuffield he offers private consultations as a Podiatric Surgeon.
Registered with the Health Professions Council and a full member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists, Mr. Barlow-Kearsley offers a wide range of treatments for foot problems in his private practice at Nuffield Health. What a genuinely reassuring and relaxing appointment. It’s all too common for consultants to become somewhat unapproachable as they progress in their careers, but Ernest is the complete opposite. He is warm, approachable, and immediately puts you at ease. I felt that he genuinely cared, never made me feel rushed, and clearly has a real passion for what he does. I’m incredibly pleased that he’ll be carrying out my surgery, as I have complete confidence in both his ability and his judgement. Thank you for making what could have been a stressful experience such a positive one.
Found Mr Barlow Kearsley extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He was very confident, having previous experience with the rare periungual fibroma on my thumb . It took me several months to track down a surgeon that could deal with this issue. He listened carefully to my concerns and totally put me at ease with regard to the procedure and aftercare, even taking the time to advise how I could get back to cardio workouts . Would highly recommend him.
I am very pleased by both the doctor and his admin team. The doctor was very helpful, he epxlained the issue with my foot in detail and helped me understand how to prevent this happening again. I needed a minor operation which was performed on the day without the need to book another appointment, I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was very smooth, the nurses were very nice and the secretary followed up on my delayed response to have it checked out. Many thanks to all, I would choose Mr Ernest again. Adriana
