Mr Simon Harris is a Consultant Laparoscopic Surgeon, specialising in gastrointestinal and colorectal surgery. He has a clinical interest in complex cases and sees patients who have previous had surgery.

After training at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, Mr Harris undertook surgical training in the South West Thames region. He gained a Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery at the Louis Pasteur Institute of Telesurgery, University of Strasbourg, France. Following this, he completed further specialist training in the Gastrointestinal and Laparoscopic Units at Addenbrookes and St Thomas's Hospitals. He then undertook a Senior Fellowship teaching Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at the Minimal Access Therapy Training Unit (MATTU) Guildford, the largest centre in the UK devoted to the training of surgeons.

He is part of the West London Cancer Network and routinely performs colorectal resections for cancer. He is also a member of the Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons.
