As a Nervous patient about to have an Extraction..I was sitting In the waiting room Dreading every second The Receptionist was very nice and made me feel at ease Then after a very short wait ..the time had come for me to face my Fears.. As I sat in the chair the procedure was explained to me in full and the Dentist really made me feel Comfortable and at ease .. The first Extraction had taken place without me even being aware ..so no pain whatsoever Time for the second Extraction.. The Dentist asked me to rinse my mouth And I promise the second Extraction had already been carried out without me being aware ..completely pain free ..the dentist advised me that she should carry out a filling to another one of my teeth ..I was a bit reluctant..she cleaned the area and what I can only describe as her massaging the affected tooth the filling was carried out successfully.. I have a follow on Appointment in January And can Honestly say ..im looking forward to it Oh and to add ...when the Anesthetic wore off I experienced no pain or Discomfort whatsoever..and less than 24 hours later I sat down and enjoyed hot coffee With no Discomfort.... I can't thank you enough for your Treatment..and after 64 years ..im no longer a Nervous Patient Thank you

The staff were lovely, so kind and understanding which has been thoroughly appreciated. However, some frustration noted around wait times. While it is appreciated that diagnostics are a lengthy process and take time, I found issues where my assessments were delayed due to Skylight not having all the information from the forms I had already completed, and after submitting my forms I was not told that all of the information had not been received until I reached out and chased my application due to the time frames I was given being overdue. To improve this experience, more communication on what has and hasn’t been received would improve the experience and shorten some people’s wait times, as my wait time was partially increased due to lack of communication over forms I had or hadn’t filled in.

I was well enough to return home the following day and able to take a short walk that afternoon. Amazing. Now 6 weeks later I am back at the gym, obviously taking care, and taking yoga classes. Dr Hurel is down to earth and has a personable style that makes his patients comfortable, cared for and listened to. He is, by far, my favourite - of many - specialist. I couldn't rate him highly enough.

Service was good when I had the appointments Long wait times where I had no info at times, had to chase replies to my emails, particularly once where I got an email saying i would be able to book my appointment 'very soon' and then nothing for weeks More info before appointments would have been nice, what to expect / prepare, my second appointment I assumed was going to be the diagnosis but turned out to just be another round of questionnaire questions not with the psychiatrist

Jonathan was very helpful, he clearly explained the conditions in both my eyes, one with muscle problems, the other with astigmatism, plus both are long and short sighted and both have cataracts. Quite complicated but he really helped me understsnd it all! Also I was lucky there was a free slot for a cataract operation in my right eye the next day, which he also explained thoroughly, so kind and helpful, made me ferl far less nervous and more at ease about the treatment.

I found out at the appointment. I believe that I should of been told prior to the appointment. I would have prepared myself before the operation of what to expect. The ADHD coaching I received was excellent. It was so nice to work with someone who had lived experience; it made all the difference. My coach was understanding, compassionate and a great mentor as well as a coach. She asked really thought provoking questions which helped me to think deeper and come up with solutions that would work for the challenges I was facing due to my ADHD and being Mum to an AuDHD daughter.
