From the moment I met Mr. Duffy, I knew I was in the right place. He immediately understood me - not just as a patient, but as a runner - and how important running is to my identity and well-being. Running is a huge part of my life, so finding a surgeon who truly understood was essential. Mr Duffy’s patient-first approach stood out. Despite being a surgeon, he didn’t rush to recommend surgery. Instead, we agreed to explore non-surgical options first, which really reflected his integrity, empathy, and commitment to doing what’s best for the person in front of him. When I later chose to go ahead with an arthroscopy. Mr. Duffy saw me both before and after the procedure on the day, which was incredibly steadying. The initial day-to-day recovery was remarkably quick, and although the longer-term recovery has required more patience and strength, I was back to some level of running just four weeks later. I’m incredibly grateful for Mr. Duffy’s care, understanding, and the trust he inspired from day one. He and his team (special thanks also to Lauren, whose support helped me feel confident about the decision to proceed with surgery) have made a real difference in my journey back to running for good.

Was brilliant! For a few of days I was having worsening pain in my ear - I couldn't get a GP appointment, and the pharmacist wasn’t able to do anything as couldn’t look in my ear or prescribe. By Saturday morning I was having horrendous pain / infection / bleeding from the ear. Was not appropriate for A&E or UTC. I couldn’t wait for the GP to open Monday, and being a single mum to a 2 year old I just needed something desperately. So on Saturday morning I went online and found this place. I phoned and had an immediate appointment sorted in minutes. Drove to the Doctors lounge, seen straight away. Brilliant Doctor, really understanding and helpful. Took a history, examined me and prescribed me what I needed. She was also really patient with my 2 year old (even let her listen to her toy giraffe with her stethoscope). When I left, I went straight to get my prescription and it was all sorted. Started taking the medicine right away and the relief was huge. Also just felt really reassured that I had been seen by a professional about this as was staring to worry. Can’t fault it at all. Will absolutely use this Doctors Lounge again if needed.

Last year I had the cataract in my right eye removed in Moorfields Private Eye Clinic. The consultant, Mr Vincenzo Maurino, was calm, professional and very kind. He immediately put me at ease. I felt strongly I could place complete trust in his care. Everything was explained clearly, and the whole process was handled with such skill and reassurance. A few months ago, when my optician told me that I needed the cataract removed in my left eye, I didn’t have any hesitation and booked an appointment with Mr Maurino at Moorfields. Once again, the care and professionalism were outstanding. Everyone on the staff was so good and helpful. The nurses were very kind, efficient and thoughtful. They even offered tea and biscuits afterwards (perhaps the best biscuits I’ve ever had)! Very soon after the surgery, my vision has improved so much that the world has become clearer. I am very grateful for the wonderful treatment I received.

Cataract op. performed by Mr Ting and team On arrival nurses prepared me by 3/4 doses of eye drops over 30 minutes with pleasant reassuring chat. When taken in for the op Mr Ting and staff were very calm and chatted to me asking questions , checking and rechecking which eye was to be done. On the table I was given instructions to open my eye and stare at a very bright light which after a minute or two I could do. Op proceeded painlessly with assuring commentary from Mr Ting as to progress. 15-20 minutes later it was all done. Being a bit rickety (at 81 yrs young) staff helped me to sit up , get my bearings and assist me to the Post Op lady to be briefed on my next 4 weeks of care which I dutifully followed. For anyone due for a cataract op NHS at Midland Eye should be their first choice. Many thanks for Mr Ting and his very professional excellent team

I was admitted in an emergency under a consultant physician. I had an infection with dehydration.The admission procedure was very calming and welcoming.. The nursing staff were so friendly and my initial care was exactly what was needed to start my treatment and recovery. The consultant had sent a plan of action which was put into action immediately. All very professional, no fuss and reassuring. My room was very comfortable, all I needed for my needs. Catering was similarly a high standard, good menu and choice as to my appetite and ability to eat. All the staff were great and responded very quickly if needed. I was very impressed with my care and the attention I received. The attitude of everyone was just what was required to get me better.

I arrived at the appointed time, checked in with the receptionist given forms to complete which I completed & handed back to the receptionist, after waiting half an hour passed my appointment time I was still waiting to be seen, eventually my partner asked a male nurse if Mr Patel was running late, and we were told that we were the next to be seen, when we were invited in to see Mr Pater he was very apologetic for keeping us waiting saying that there had been an administrative error whereby he had been told that I hadn’t arrived for my appointment, Mr Patel commented that he thought that was strange as the paperwork I had compieted on my arrival was on his desk. So he realised that I was there but nobody had apparently bothered to check.

Dr Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos is an excellent thoracic surgeon. Totally comfortable with his skills, communication and bedside manners. I thank him, his team and all the nursing staff who cared for me during my recent thymus surgery, pre and post surgery visits. The warm and clean hospital environment, the friendly lobby and check in staff are fabulous too! Everything was seamless and efficient. (Program included a Chiropractor and 2 Physiotherapists - Soft tissue and Exercise) Following my initial diagnosis, which was both thorough and explanatory, I always received a warm welcome at Reception which helps when you are feeling fragile. The program mixed between all three experts and I only ever had to wait a few minutes for my scheduled appointment. Each expert was friendly, professional and put me at ease straight away.

Her recommendations and guidance for further investigation were thorough, and focused both on supporting the management of existing symptoms and ensuring we have a clear, consistent picture of the situation. I am leaving feeling reassured on where I am at and confident about next steps to be taken. It was a worthwhile eight hour round trip.

I found Mr Adeel to be efficient and professional with a great bedside manner which made me feel at easy. On my most recent visit, I had a concern, so he fitted me in at short notice.
