I recently had an excellent consult with Dr Gary Dorman at Kingsbridge Ballykelly. I am very happy with every aspect of the experience, but especially my appointment with Mr Dorman. I was on the NHS wait list for 1.5 years before making a private appointment for a prolapse Bladder (cystocele). I wish I had booked with Kingsbridge when I was diagnosed. As the prolapse and lack of expert information on my condition, left me wary, and my quality of life suffered for 18 months. Dr Dorman is an expert in this field and also a wonderful communicator and listener. I felt at ease during the consult and exam. He listened, and clearly explained everything including my options and his recommendation. I also received sound advice and guidance about what I could do, via diet and exercises, to help my situation. On leaving the appointment I felt great relief. I was in expert hands and left with a clear plan to sort my problem. I couldn’t speak more highly of my experience with Dr Dorman and Kingsbridge Ballykelly. Thank you so much.

Dr. Devarajan treated me for endometriosis, which included the removal of an ovarian cyst, fibroid, and endometriotic tumour. After years of suffering, she immediately put my mind at ease and arranged treatment within just 10 days of diagnosis. Four weeks post-surgery, I feel better than I have in years. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Devarajan showed genuine warmth and empathy, and she was always responsive to any questions I had after treatment. My only regret is not seeing her sooner. Right hip replacement I was in a lot of pain before the surgery after meeting Mr Shankar Thiagarajah with his professional, open and friendly manor, he fully explained the procedure and put my mind at ease. Being a nervous person, I won’t lie I was petrified , but the whole process from initial consultation through to operation and recovery was without a doubt down to his experience and supporting team.. I had my surgery at the MEOC centre in Mexborough, a purpose built facility and specialist orthopaedic centre. His support team were excellent, a credit to Mr Thiagarajah. After 8 weeks, my life has returned back to normal, without pain and that is with my 10,000 steps daily ritual.

We recently saw Mr Uddin for our son’s ongoing ear problems, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care he provided. He placed grommets in both of my son’s ears, and the whole process was incredibly smooth from start to finish. Mr Uddin explained everything clearly, made us feel at ease, and handled the procedure with great professionalism. There were no complications at all, and the recovery was quick and trouble-free. Most importantly, our son has finally recovered from the continuous ear infections he had been suffering with for so long. The improvement has been amazing. amazing. I had keyhole surgery for a groin hernia. I was discharged the same day with zero pain and zero discomfort and it stayed like that throughout the recovery ( and no need for any pain relief or laxatives). I was out walking the next day and moderately active ( but avoiding lifting) throughout the recover period. The hernia is now completed fixed As I said to Mr Marshall " it was as though you'd never been in there and it's been fixed my magic".

I arrived before my appointment time, bought some food and a coffee from the café, and settled down with my laptop to do a little work. The waiting areas were calm, clean, and very relaxing, and I had no difficulty finding a seat. My wait to see the consultant ran just a few minutes over my scheduled time, simply because the patient before me had slightly overrun.
