From my very first consultation, she took the time to truly listen to all my insecurities about my breasts — they were large, heavy, and made me very self-conscious — and she reassured me that she could help. Throughout my entire journey, from pre-op to post-op, she made me feel completely safe, heard, and cared for. Ms. Breahna explained everything clearly, checked in on me regularly, and offered so many helpful tips to support my healing. Before surgery, she was so kind and calming. I have a bleeding disorder and had never undergone a major operation before, so I was very nervous, but she worked closely with my haematologist and kept me fully updated on every plan and precaution. The staff and my surgical team were all extremely helpful in every way shape or form. They answered all of my questions and they particularly helped with me when it came to my anxiety after surgery. Postop my doctor listen to me and prescribe me the necessary medication for my post-operative care. They were particularly very attentive when it came to patient dignity. The only minor improvement I was I had to wait a little while to be seen once I was admitted and I needed a blood test pretty urgently prior to surgery so this slowed things down a little. The other thing was that I would make is maybe make the patient rooms a bit more less clinical looking I understand everything needs to be clean to avoid infections especially after surgery however making the rooms look a little more cozy and in some ways looks less daunting particularly people like myself that was the only minor improvement otherwise patient care was outstanding.

Mr Ahmed was incredibly professional, whilst showing an empathetic, kind approach. At our first meeting, he explained the procedure fully (a total joint replacement to my left knee. He asked if I wanted to see my X-rays, which I did. He went over details of the operation with me, going over what I could expect. He went at my pace, was thorough, making sure I was comfortable with the information he was giving me. Mr Ahmed was approachable, contactable and empathetic during all follow-up meetings. Thankfully Mr Ahmed agreed to carry out a similar operation to my right knee. You can't get a better recommendation than that! It's a 10 out of 10 from me.

I came to my post-op appointment, slightly earlier than the scheduled one, as the surgeon Professor Keith barton wanted to make sure that my eye was recovering well. The ward team was expecting me, and directed me , to the waiting area. The consultant surgeon took me to the examination room. After thorough examination I was reassured, that my eye was recovering well, and myself I noticed the improvement in vision. I was advised how to reduce my eye drops and stop them in due time.
