Eastwood Endoscopy Centre opened its doors in 2009 and offers a range of services, including:

• Colonoscopy - large bowel examination using fibre-optic camera
• Flexible sigmoidoscopy - examines the rectum and lower part of the large bowel
• Gastroscopy - examination of the oesophagus, stomach, and first section of the small intestine
• Rectal Bleeding Clinic - flexible sigmoidoscopy followed by a proctoscopy
• Consultation Clinic - if required, patients may see the consultant or clinical nurse specialist prior to endoscopy appointment

They are an NHS provider and are commissioned by Castle Point & Rochford Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).

Eastwood Endoscopy Centre has recently been renovated and now offers the very latest in diagnostic endoscopic technology. All procedures, therapeutic treatments, and consultations are performed by one of the seven accredited consultant endoscopists, who are supported by a skilled nursing team and a clinical nurse specialist.

The dedicated team offers nonjudgmental, confidential, high-quality, and compassionate treatment in a caring environment. They advocate for evidence-based care and implement this in their practice.
