Was very easy to book. Staff were lovely and friendly . My daughter actually opened up and chatted away with them. She had a lovely time and got out the house ! Overall a lovely experience

I booked for my child to attend the 1 hour therapeutic horse session. The grounds are beautiful, every member of staff that we met from the reception team to the team members supporting the horse session were welcoming and friendly. My child is autistic and is being assessed for adhd also. He requires a friendly, calm, clear and positive approach to support him which is exactly what was delivered by the two team members delivering the session. My child had the opportunity to feed , stroke and groom the horses and was given lots of praise for all of his efforts, no matter how small. The session went at my child’s pace and there was absolutely no pressure if he didn’t want to complete any aspect of the experience. The experience was very calming and enjoyable. My child particularly liked seeing the horses play with their treat boxes and kicking them around like they were playing football! It was also very educational as he had the opportunity to learn facts about the horses which he enjoyed. The horses were lovely and all had their own individual characters. My child was given a small toy horse as a little souvenir of the experience and he still talks about the horses when he plays with it! Overall we had a very positive experience and we will definitely be booking again!

I found Jane’s Makewell account on TikTok initially when I started looking for other families of children who might have ADHD and got a good feeling from her & their ethos. I am so pleased we chose Makewell. Communication was fantastic and paperwork and replies were always timely. I got a phone call before from Emma, asking if we had any questions. Emma was really helpful, easy to talk to and helped us to get an understanding of the process. The building is lovely and not too overwhelming in size & easy to find. All the staff were so lovely. The ladies who we had our assessment with made us feel so at ease and it went at a very relaxed pace. Our daughter actually had a wonderful day and she felt like she had fun during her assessment. She was listened to and paid attention to- which for her is important. Our expectations were clear; sometimes you get your diagnosis and sometimes you have to wait and gather more information. Nothing felt rushed. We talked and talked and were able to fully explain our perspective. A QB test was provided. Excellent follow up was given. I would thoroughly recommend Makewell.

The staff are always kind, thoughtful and approachable which has made my diagnosis and treatment easily accessible. The venue and location of MakeWell is ideal to encouraging a sense of safety and calm even on the drive through the grounds prior to my appointments.

We had a great experience at Makewell. The setting is wonderful has a very welcoming calm feel to it. Staff are all amazing! Very professional, kind and very knowledgeable. I’m so glad we chose Makewell and would highly recommend them to anybody, I couldn’t ask for anything more from them, they went above and beyond in every aspect of their service.
