About Makewell MK
Makewell Health and Wellness Clinic is a private multidisciplinary clinic providing physical health, mental health and neurodevelopmental services. The clinic offers a range of assessments and treatments designed to support wellbeing across different life stages, with services available for both adults and children.
The clinic’s physical health services include diagnostic and wellness blood testing, travel health consultations and vaccinations, and allergy and intolerance testing. These services are intended to support preventative health care, health monitoring and early identification of potential health concerns where appropriate.
Makewell also provides mental health and neurodevelopmental services, including assessments for autism spectrum conditions and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in adults and children. We attended the Makewell Clinic for ADHD/ASD assessments for our son. There were a number of forms to complete prior to the visit. When we attended the clinic, it was clean, bright with a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are attentive, caring and knowledgeable which my husband and I found reassuring. 100% recommend Makewell and appreciate the time they took to determine the diagnosis for our son.

Overall we have had a very positive experience. The staff have all been welcoming, warm and friendly. The facilities, setting and overall vibe of the location felt so much less clinical than other options. We were sad to not have met Ava but understand she might have been unavailable. Some of the questions didn’t feel age appropriate for an 8 and 6 year old. The rainbow and aquarium rooms felt very warm and stuffy in the heat of the afternoon, fans or air conditioning might help? The reception area also feels , almost the desks could be lower or more open. To small children they were unable to see over the top. Thank you

Everyone was very kind and welcoming. I do think we should have been given a break rather than being told to ask if we needed one. It would also have been nice to be offered the chance to meet the therapy dog/ horses as shown on the video. I realise I could have asked but my child doesn’t like me “making a fuss” and her perception of making a fuss is very low threshold. When parents are also feeling stressed and drained there is only so much advocating they can do. I think the process of booking, sending in information and the responsiveness to queries I had was excellent.

My daughter attended Makewell to discuss medication following a diagnosis of ADHD. She was nervous beforehand but Carolynne, the clinician, really put her at ease with her warm and friendly manner. She took time to answer all of our questions and knew exactly how to give my daughter the information without overwhelming her. The setting was wonderful - both the clinic itself and the surrounding grounds, with the horses. I would definitely recommend Maewell, I cannot fault the service we received at all.
