Dr Shafafy is incredibly supportive, he answered all my queries and reassured me that I have fully recovered. He also helped me to better understand everything I needed to know about my recovery , without exposing me to the ‘gruesome’ parts that I didn’t need to know . Thank you Dr Shafafy ! He is the best Surgeon in the world (my saviour).

I visited Mr Shafafy regarding long standing chronic back pain which I had been managing conservatively for the last 10 years. My symptoms got worse and the nerve pain & numbness became constant making day to day tasks, working & outdoor activities more difficult to complete. Mr Shafafy took the time to understand my condition, empathise with me and discuss both surgical and non surgical options. Along with any potential risks/ complications to consider. I felt that I was fully supported and informed throughout the process of having an L4/5 fusion by him and can’t thank Mr Shafafy & his team enough for the incredible service they have provided me from the moment I stepped into clinic to the day I left the hospital following the surgery.
