Mrs Marlies Schreuder is a highly experienced Trauma and Orthopaedic Consultant with a specialist interest in hand, wrist and elbow surgery. She has been practising as a consultant for over 16 years, with a dedicated focus on upper limb conditions affecting the hand, wrist and elbow.
Mrs Schreuder qualified as a specialist in Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2007. Following this, she undertook advanced fellowship training in hand and wrist surgery in Kortrijk, Belgium, and at the internationally recognised Pulvertaft Hand Centre in Derby. She further developed her subspecialist expertise by completing an elbow fellowship in Breda, The Netherlands, under the supervision of Professor Eygendaal, a leading authority in elbow surgery.
Her NHS base is Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where she works across sites in Mansfield and Newark, providing specialist trauma and elective orthopaedic care. Mrs Schreuder is known for her extensive experience in managing complex hand, wrist and elbow conditions, combining specialist surgical skill with a patient-centred approach to treatment and recovery.
