I identified Dr Stephens as someone who might be more suited to my age and sporting interests than my previous cardiologist. The difference in approach was like chalk and cheese. Dr Stephens explained the hunch he had, was willing to share surprise that a key test had been overlooked, it was arranged quickly and delivered professionally by what seemed a very experienced and knowledgeable team at Northwick Park (Mary and colleague). The results accorded with the hunch and were extremely good news. This was against a backdrop of having been advised to do three months detraining, not easy for me but doable if necessary, but without any real assurance that it would lead to a diagnosis. Twenty seven days of booked holidays cancelled with deposits refunded, the prospect of beta blockers for a protracted period, not able to give blood, not possible to continue with my previous travel insurer and always with the doubt in my mind that there may be an undiagnosed significant heart issue. I was amazed by the clarity with which the advice was given, the quality of the advice, the personableness of Dr Stephens and the speed/clarity of the communications. after the two appointments. I got lucky in being given enough info by a friend to take the decision to get myself seen by Dr Stephens. The experience has truly been life changing and I can't think of any other way of describing it. To say I am extremely grateful is a total understatement. I was also impressed by Libby and others in the administration team at Maidstone who seemed to handle everything efficiently and slickly. Overall, entirely faultless and massively impressive. From the very first consultation, I felt listened to and taken seriously. Mr Unadkat is calm, thoughtful, and very honest in his approach. Even at that early stage, the improvement in straightness and balance was already clear, despite swelling. What I appreciated most was his conservative, considered decision making and his focus on achieving a natural, masculine result rather than anything artificial or overdone. He also took the time to answer questions honestly, including post operative concerns, which made a huge difference emotionally during recovery. Rhinoplasty can be an anxious process, and I’m grateful to have had a surgeon who combines technical expertise with empathy and clear communication. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Unadkat to anyone considering nasal surgery, particularly if they value a thoughtful, safe, and natural looking approach.

10/10 experience. We had our 10 year old son assessed for ADHD. From the moment i called to enquire about the process and what are the steps involved to the actually assessment, everyone has been amazing. Steven in the front office walked me through the entire process, what to expect, costings etc. he was polite, kind and very professional. Dr Hollie Hearfield who did the assessment was lovely. I cannot speak highly enough of Mr Fawdington, who along with his knowledge and expertise is caring and empathetic with an engaging manner. From my first meeting I felt reassured that my symptoms, which had perplexed others, could be resolved. His initial thoughts were proved entirely correct after an MRI, and prompt surgery was the realistic option for a condition that is considered somewhat rare. After five weeks from my initial consultation I regained full motor function to my hand, for which I am eternally grateful. His lovely secretary was also most helpful in guiding me through the process.

Pretty straightforward experience overall. The receptionist on the first floor (the Somali lady wearing a hijab) was extremely kind and helpful. My phone was about to die and I asked if there was any chance of a charger- she went out of her way to help me, which I really appreciated. It’s the small things like that which leave a lasting impression, and that’s exactly why I wanted to leave this review. The only small suggestion I’d make is having oat milk available at the coffee machine for those who don’t have dairy, it would be a thoughtful and considerate touch.

Overall staff were lovely but possible lacking in cover/number of staff availability.
