I had extensive contact with Dr. Moorthy before I actually attended St. Marys Lindo Wing in person, via email and phone calls, so I had a good idea before arriving there of who Dr. Moorthy was as a professional and a person. I had a very good impression of Dr. Moorthy before attending the hospital, and I can say I was not disappointed to meet him in person. As a professional he is extremely good, his detailed explanations of the surgery and techniques he would use were greatly appreciated, too many times I have come across surgeons who spend little to no time before a surgery, getting any information second hand from some one else on the team, but Dr. Moorthy spent the time with me directly to go over all the details not only of the surgery but also the recovery process. He came to see me many times while I was at the Lindo Wing, even coming in on the weekend to check up on my progress, and was in contact with the people who came to the hospital with me. After I left the hospital and returned to Ireland, he again kept in contact to check on my recovery. Dr. Moorthy, as well as being a great surgeon, as evidenced by my recovery, little to no after effects from the surgery, and very little signs now that I ever had surgery, is also a very kind and personable human being, I am delighted to of met such a genuine nice person and delighted that it was he who performed my surgery. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Moorthy.

The administrative processes are not always easy to naviagate but the staff at the hospital are professional and helpful. Staff on reception seem well briefed on what information is needed from patients. Clinical staff - both on the wards and in the CT scanning teams were professional and reassuring. It would be useful - for people accompanying a patient for a procedure - to have some information about facilities available to them. I was at the hospital for 12 hours and the only way to get something to eat was to go out of the hopsital to buy it. It would have been helpful to have some catering available on site - if only by machine.

Matt Frost was terrific. I'm surprised he wasn't a senior ages ago! But congrats all the same! He's worth every bit of it. Interestingly my hearing had improved slightly from last year and I seriously wonder if this was because I had complete confidence in him. Others always good but Matt inspires confidence in a special way. He also explained the most recent Phonak model clearly so that despite my age and life expectancy, I'm going to give it a try despite the cost. Finally he adjusted my current aids and there is notable improvement. in my hearing. Thanks Matt - and all of you in the office who are always helpful

I understand went a procedure at Kingsbridge hospital Ballykelly. From my first appointment I was treated with care and respect. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My appointment prompt and quick. All question and queries I had where answered in a matter I could understand. On the morning of my procedure the room I was given was clean and bright. Staff were very attentive and made me feel at ease. After the op try he staff where always near taking vitals and super attentive. A very calm, reassuring and friendly atmosphere. The New Victoria also had the necessary scanning and blood testing facilities just a few steps away from the consultation rooms. The hospital is well served by the 57 bus route but also has facilities for dropping patients off and also limited parking.
