Having already had my right hip successfully replaced by the NHS, when my left hip began to be seriously debilitating and painful I was told that there would be a considerable wait for the operation. Therefore I turned to the private sector. Mr Dehne had excellent reviews and impressive qualifications, so I choose the Practice Plus group Hospital Birmingham where he works. I was well looked after by the team at the hospital, the private room and on suite was very comfortable and clean. My operation went well, first day recovery was difficult due to my very low blood pressure. However this was carefully managed and subsequent recovery was slightly quicker than my previous hip replacement. Now ten weeks after surgery the hip feels strong, pain free and I am able to return to an active life style. I recently saw Dr Patel about my dry eyes, which I've been managing on my own for nearly 10 years. I was considering a septorhinoplasty and wanted to know how best to manage this/any likely impact on my eyes, as well as what else I could do day to day to manage my eyes. Mr Patel took the time to provide a thorough eye examination and explained the condition and where I am in terms of stages and treatment levels. I found his manner very kind and patient with me, as I have a low tolerance for things in my eyes, such as bright lights and staring in one place for a long time.

All in all a fantastic experience dealing with the Forbury Clinic, I had a vasectomy procedure and dealt with surgeon Paul Hadway and his team who were great, from my first consultation to the actual procedure Paul put me at complete ease, from start to finish it’s been a pleasure dealing with him and the Forbury Clinic, I only wish now that I had the procedure carried out many years ago. If anyone is thinking about having a vasectomy I would 100% recommend Paul and his Team at The Forbury Clinic.

Service was good when I had the appointments Long wait times where I had no info at times, had to chase replies to my emails, particularly once where I got an email saying i would be able to book my appointment 'very soon' and then nothing for weeks More info before appointments would have been nice, what to expect / prepare, my second appointment I assumed was going to be the diagnosis but turned out to just be another round of questionnaire questions not with the psychiatrist

Mr Sayasneh, is compassionate, kind, gentle, respectful, very thorough, totally professional, highly knowledgeable and very experienced gynaecologist. He is an excellent communicator, explains everything in lay person’s terms and his letter reports concerning visits, examinations and diagnosis are articulate, thorough, understandable and unbelievably prompt. I can’t recommend him highly enough and am grateful for his services and care.

The ADHD coaching I received was excellent. It was so nice to work with someone who had lived experience; it made all the difference. My coach was understanding, compassionate and a great mentor as well as a coach. She asked really thought provoking questions which helped me to think deeper and come up with solutions that would work for the challenges I was facing due to my ADHD and being Mum to an AuDHD daughter.

Miss Summerhayes is fantastic. She is very reassuring, friendly and knowledgeable. She has a terrific bedside manner, which eased the strss of my cancer treatment. Lyn Corlass keeps the process running smoothly and has always gone the extra mile to ensure that there was minimal waiting time for tests, treatments and appointments. Over all, they have made a very difficult time, much easier to deal with.

I was at the clinic for a 6 weeks post surgery appointment. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. I saw Kevin Bryceland. He showed me the xray of my new hip, explained the surgery and checked my progress. He was happy to answer any questions and explained the next steps. While it was busy in the clinic, Kevin took time to listen and I didn't feel rushed in any way.

All my options again were explained in clear English and the implications of not taking action, when the consultation ended I left his room with all the information needed and my mind made up on how to proceed.

Mr Stott explained clearly what he found and the possible treatments. He also explained how the continuous treatment with anti-inflammatories can be counterproductive. His help in suggesting a Renpho massage gun is helpful ad I am going to acquire one shortly.

I was very happy to be seen this time by Professor Bijayendra Singh himself. He is really a lovely man and an excellent Surgeon. He will be operating on my thumb next year to fuse my thumb. I was luckily enough that he operated on my wrist 14th April 2023.
