From start to finish, reception , initial introduction, presentation, procedure and after care, everything was first class. The procedure was carried out under local anaesthetic, as the procedure was being carried out the surgeon and his assistant interacted constantly which made the whole procedure very comfortable and at no time was I nervous or anxious. Fantastic experience and completely successful. Two weeks on my wound is healing successfully and there have been no ill effects. Fantastic experience, thank you team.

I was diagnosed with a BCC on my cheak. Mr Breakey outlined several treatment options but favoured a topical chemotherapy cream in the first instance. After a six week treatment it left a large scab however if fell off a week or two after stopping treatment. Six weeks post treatment Mr Breakey checked again and the BCC was gone. It was a success. I appreciated his honesty, pleasant manner and professionalism. I am very grateful to him for not jumping straight to surgery, but to give the cream a chance. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Breakey.

The surgeon discussed the procedure with me prior to my surgery and we discussed allergies, medications and other issues. I then had the surgery and felt no pain following the anaesthetic. The doctor explained the process while he was removing the cyst and both he and the nurse were talking to me to check how I was and if I was comfortable. The whole process took about 30 minutes and I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to leave the operating room straight after surgery without any dizziness or pain.

Exactly 1 year ago today I had my rhino-septoplasty. Wow. I never realised the impact it’d have on my life. I was really, really nervous before meeting Dr Breakey as having someone change my face is obviously a very personal experience. As soon as I met him at a pre-op consultation, he immediately reassured me I’d be totally fine, and I instantly felt “this guy is a pro, and I’m in the best hands possible” And I was definitely not wrong!! Fast forward to the morning of the surgery he came to meet me, told me exactly how the day was going to go, and told me he’d be there for me every step of the way. Next thing I know, I’m going into theatre, and waking up a totally new man! Dr Breakey has been there every single day for me since the operation to ask questions about my operation and calm all of my worries - especially the day I banged my nose and rang him very panicked! I truly am so, so grateful for the amazing work he’s done. I finally feel I look how I was supposed to look when I was born. I thought the surgery would help me breathe a little better, and while it has done this, it has changed my whole life. While I always thought I was a confident person, I knew I always felt embarrassed by my crooked nose - trying to hide its shape by wearing glasses. But now, I can be who I am freely without having to worry anymore about how I look. He is honestly, one of the most kind, caring and professional people I’ve ever met, and I can not recommend him more. If there’s someone you should trust with these big decisions… it’s this man!
