Mr Thomas performed surgery on me last month and I could not have asked for a better surgeon. The surgery was a large surgery and quite complex and he ensured throughout my care I was well informed, given all options of treatment and was available for appointments, via email / phone through contact with his PA. When I first met Mr Thomas I explained my symptoms and in my mind we were taking a route down one avenue for treatment. Upon meeting me - He suggested we take the surgery further to better me and prevent the risk of further hernia's in the future. I was extremely pleased and assured by the care of Mr Thomas. I have had many communications with Mr Thomas and his PA Gemma and I can not fault them at all. I always receive an almost immediate response, greeted with kindness from both of them and had great aftercare. My surgery took place in London Bridge Hospital - Mr Thomas visited me most days whilst I was recovering and I also received regular communications from Gemma also to see how I was getting along and was there anything I needed to communicate to Mr Thomas directly. The nurses in my care also expressed to me regularly how I was in very safe hands with Mr Thomas and has a great reputation for his kindness towards both colleagues and patients. I am extremely pleased with my recovery and aftercare and really feel Mr Thomas has made a huge change to my quality of life and I can never thank him enough!

Mr Thomas explained the procedure I had to have and answered my questions and concerns. I felt reassured that the surgical procedure would be successful. At my follow up appointment Mr Thomas spent time once again explaining my hiatus hernia condition and how that could be dealt with should that become necessary - as well as discussing the inguinal hernia surgery that I had just had.

Mr Thomas was very concise and clear about what to expect with my forthcoming procedure. He explained about possible side effects and I felt no pressure from Mr Thomas that it was absolutely necessary to undergo the operation, but he left it to me to make the final decision. The operation went very well. Mr Thomas came to see me pre the op and immediately post op. I followed instructions for a full recovery. My post operative appointment was two weeks after my op. He explained very clearly how it went, he was very pleased. And again advised of any possible side effects. To date I haven't had any, and feel very well. I'm back to full time fitness. My condition was chronic and I cannot stress enough how pleased I am that I had the operation. I would absolutely recommend Mr Thomas without any hesitation. Thank you. Sally G
