Dr Pannick is an exceptionally efficient and highly professional gastroenterology consultant. We were able to secure an appointment very quickly and were seen next day, which was greatly appreciated. As English is not my first language, I attended the consultation with the help of a translator. Dr Pannick was incredibly patient, kind and understanding throughout the appointment. He took the time to communicate with us thoroughly, listened carefully to my concerns, and provided a detailed assessment of my condition together with clear, thoughtful and evidence-based advice. His expertise, professionalism and compassionate approach made me feel reassured and confident about my treatment plan. I truly appreciated the time he spent ensuring that I fully understood my condition and the available options. I would highly recommend Dr Pannick to anyone seeking specialist gastroenterology care. He is genuinely a five-star consultant—and deserves more than five stars.🤩

I was a bit surprised to see that the letter to my surgery was given to me to deliver. Not that it really matters as they have never called me for a health check in the 45 years I have been with them. I doubt that it will ever be read

Diagnosing IBS

Diagnosing IBS

Diagnosing IBS is a clinical judgement, not a mystery. We have international criteria to make sure we're interpreting symptoms properly, and do a limited panel of checks to make sure we're not missing a common IBS mimics. Irritable bowel syndrome should be a positive diagnosis, guiding your treatment in a way that makes sense to you.
