I contacted Mr Dabasia after suffering from sciatica for 4 months with no improvement and symptoms worsening .On my initial appointment I felt like Mr Dabasia completely understood my issue and was sympathetic. He recommended the next stage in the process and we arranged an MRI. Once this was completed I revisited and we discussed my options. At this point I opted for a Lumbar discectomy due to the size of my disc herniation and constant pain I was in. I was back within a week to have the surgery. I’ve never had any type of operation before so was pretty nervous but felt a lot better once Mr Dabasia came to see me pre operation as he explained everything in a very calm and controlled manner so felt I was in safe hands. Once he had completed the surgery I had instant pain relief from the sciatica and he visited the ward to explain exactly what he had done and how the operation went . Once again that afternoon he visited when my wife arrived at the hospital so he could explain a bit more about my recovery . We were both really impressed with the personal touch and time taken as I’m sure he is very busy but never felt rushed and he wanted to answer any questions we had . I am now nearly a month post op and have seen Mr Dabasia again for a follow up. I am so grateful he carried out my surgery and the care has been amazing. I’m starting to get my life back to normal.
