Mr Barnick is an exceptionally charming, kind and talented surgeon. He listened carefully to all my medical concerns. Upon examination he diagnosed the problem and explained exactly where my prolapse was coming from and how it was affecting the bladder. Surgery was advised. I knew instantly that I had total confidence in him and elected to proceed. When my surgery had to be rescheduled ,as I became hospitalised with a serious blood condition, he liased with my haematologist and monitored my progress. The operation went smoothly due to his superb surgical skills. My prolapse has gone and the bladder has been repaired. I am now able to stand and walk without discomfort and pass urine normally. I will be forever grateful. Zoe his PA is delightful. She is incredibly efficient and extremely caring. Nothing was too much trouble and she helped me with my many queries before the operation. .

It was OK. Sorry this system doesn't allow me to write why I went there and therefore wastes my time! I was there for a Pre op assessment. My Op is 9 Feb 2026 under Dr Panos Gikas. I asked him if I could attend this clinic as it is nearer where I live. The. appointment was alright. The only issue I had was that when it came to having a blood test, they insisted that I had to have 2 separate ones in each arm? I get blood tests regularly as I have a long term condition. The first one was relatively pain free which was performed by Isabella. The second was performed by Riggs(?) and was unneccessarily painful due to him holding down the needle when it was in my arm. I was not happy about that. I did not understand the reason for the second blood test, when one is usually fine and if more blood is required, then usually another vial is attached as necessary.

I have recently had cosmetic surgery at Sancta Maria and i genuinely would not want to go anywhere else…. I may be biased as I work at the hospital but for me regardless of who I was the staff were very professional and gave outstanding care. I always watch how every staff members provide this incredible service to other members of the public but honestly they showed me so much care and compassion throughout my surgery. The staff in all departments - especially recovery and ward as that’s where I spent my time mostly. Also Ashley in outpatients for providing me with an appointment for dressing clinic to put my mind at ease when I accidentally got my dressings wet. Honestly I would not want to have had my surgery anywhere else. Thank you all so much. I am very proud to work within such an incredible team.

I was extremely happy with the hospital and the level of care I received. From the moment I arrived, all of the nurses and staff were kind, professional, and incredibly attentive. I felt genuinely well looked after at every stage before and after surgery. The nursing team made me feel comfortable, reassured, and supported, always checking in on me and making sure I had everything I needed. Their calm and caring approach made a big difference and helped me feel at ease throughout my stay. The hospital environment was clean, well organised, and very reassuring, and the overall standard of care was excellent. I injured my back the week before Christmas — I could not even walk with the pain. I emailed Dr Swan over the weekend not expecting a response until Monday. I should’ve known from my previous experiences that he really cares about his patients and their outcomes so I was not surprised when he called me at home in the evening to discuss what I could do to immediately to relieve the spasm and a plan of next steps for investigations and treatment. I could not think of a safer pair of hands to be in when you are in severe pain and dealing with a spinal injury.

He had identified the problem, verified it during the consultation and offered a researched surgical solution promising considerable relief, despite some risk in the process which he clearly explained. His very efficient team offered to prepare quotes for the procedure recommended, relieving me of this onerous task. I could not hope nor ask for more. I have every reason to be fully confident in this gentleman's professionalism, skill and ability.

Dr Khan is a consumate professional with an extremely amiable approach that immediately put me at ease. He explained everything in great clarity, was very reassuring whilst being direct in my procedures pro's and possible cons and making sure I fully understood the potential outcomes. I have struggled with trigger finger in both hands for a while. Mr. Jonathan Hobby has always given me the best advice and treatment. The most recent steroid injections have been a huge success. My middle fingers no longer lock when I'm carrying out daily tasks and the terrible pain in my left middle finger joint has disappeared. A huge relief and it's wonderful not to be in pain.
