I was very nervous before my first appointment and worried about how the assessment would turn out, but Dr Crocker was calm, patient, and made me feel extremely comfortable during our meeting. The entire process was straightforward, and I felt completely at ease. Dr Crocker and his team are approachable, professional, and are doing tremendous work. A private assessment obviously isn’t cheap, but the clarity it gave me, along with starting medication, has made such a huge difference to my life. It’s genuinely been life-changing, and I’m incredibly grateful I took that step. I would absolutely recommend Dr Crocker and his team to anyone who is considering getting assessed. You'll be in good hands.
The kindness and compassion shown by doctor David is almost overwhelming. He really goes an extra mile to take care of his patient. I felt seen, understood and validated. The process of the diagnosis went very smooth and natural. He said I came to the right place and he was 100% right. Thank you so much!
I booked this ADHD assessment for my son (late teens). The booking process was really smooth, and the assessments with Dr Kamaledeen were great. Dr Kamaledeen put my son at ease, and explained everything really clearly. Most importantly, he was able to return his diagnosis during the appointments, and we received the prescription through the post very quickly. This speedy, professional has made a huge difference to my son, who was really anxious before the process began.
Really positive experience with Caledonian Psychiatry. The whole process from assessment through to diagnosis and starting treatment was straightforward, professional and much quicker than I expected. I felt listened to throughout the assessment and never felt rushed or dismissed. Everything was explained clearly, including the diagnosis, treatment options and what would happen next. Communication has also been great whenever I’ve had questions or needed anything sorted. Going private obviously isn’t cheap, but for the level of care and how smoothly everything has been handled, I’m genuinely glad I went with Caledonian Psychiatry. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone considering an ADHD assessment.
The whole experience was very direct and efficient. Dr Crocker is very personable and intuitive so if you feel nervous about the process I think there’s a high chance of putting you at ease.
Friends highly recommended Dr Crocker and let's just say I wish I met him years ago. I was so nervous going into the appointment but he was so understanding and had a way of talking and going about the questions that was quite relaxing. He never rushed me and always gave me the time to think about my answer. I appreciate his kindess and gentleness, it made me feel at ease. Plus, he's kinda funny, and most importantly very evident that he's very experienced and knows what he's talking about. He listens to all my concerns about medication and really helped to find a way out.
I am extremely grateful for the warmth and understanding shown to me by Dr Crocker. From the initial booking and throughout the assessment process I was treated with respect and kindness. I was given time to talk through my history and current struggles and was not judged in any way. My options were explained clearly and my questions were fully answered with patience. Getting the answers and a path forward has been a weight off my shoulders. Choosing to be assessed privately has been one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself.
I would highly recommend Caledonian Psychiatry, and particularly Dr David Crocker. From the very beginning, I found the whole assessment process professional, thorough and, most importantly, reassuring. Dr Crocker was excellent — knowledgeable, patient, approachable and genuinely interested in understanding my experiences. I always felt listened to and never felt rushed or judged. The assessment itself was extremely thorough, and I was particularly impressed by the detail and quality of the final report. It was comprehensive, clearly written and covered my history, assessment findings and diagnosis in considerable detail. It wasn't simply a brief report confirming a diagnosis; it gave me a much better understanding of myself and the difficulties I have experienced throughout my life. One thing I found particularly reassuring was knowing that Dr Crocker has ADHD himself. I feel that this gave him an additional personal understanding of some of the experiences I was trying to describe, and I found that really helpful during the assessment. I felt that he understood not just the clinical side, but also some of the real-life challenges that can come with ADHD. At 52, finally having answers has been a very positive and quite emotional experience. I felt that the diagnosis was based on a proper, detailed assessment rather than simply ticking boxes, and I came away feeling that I had genuinely been understood. Dr Crocker explained things clearly throughout and was extremely professional and compassionate. I am genuinely very pleased that I chose Caledonian Psychiatry and Dr ...
