I was nervous about having laser surgery at first, but from the moment I sat down with Mark all of my worries and concerns disappeared, and I wanted to go ahead as soon as possible. I’ve now had my treatment yesterday and the results already are amazing, and will only get better over the next few months. It’s strange not having to search for my glasses every time I need to read something. After discussions with Mark I opted for surgery on both eyes to improve my vision for both short and long distance, and it’s the best decision I could have made. The surgery was so quick and painless. I can’t thank Mark enough for the whole experience from start to finish. - Appointments (pre and post surgery) were always on time and Mark performed thorough checks on my eyes. - Surgery was quick and painless. Mark guided me throughout the surgery and kept me calm. - Post surgery my eyesight was restored to perfect vision and I have had no problems asides from slight dryness in left eye. However Mark provided eyedrops which resolve it. - Afercare service was brilliant. Mark phoned the evening after the surgery to check on me and was happy to answer any questions - Post treatment Mark provided antibiotics and mask to care for my eyes with simple and easy instructions for 7 days - 100% recommend Mark and would encourage anyone nervous about the surgery, to go for it

From the usual biannual eye test which noticed I had the start of Cataracts which suggested monitoring I decided to get this looked at by a specialist. This was because I had noticed night driving slightly more difficult, along with not being able to see as clearly where there was bright or dull lighting. I do not think I could have found a better person to deal with this, from explaining why this had happened to my 58 yr old self to the operation itself. I received great care, an operation on both eyes which was around 20 mins for each, very slight discomfort and no pain (the dentist would be worse for me!). In total 2 hrs at the Westbourne clinic. The next day I could see clearly and felt amazed of the definition of sight I had, especially the vivid colours. No driving and protective clear glasses for a week after was all the inconvenience I had. My initial thoughts of should I leave this until it gets worse seemed a long time ago, and I am so pleased I went ahead with this at the earliest opportunity even though my age would be considered young for this type of procedure. I would highly recommend Mark’s skill/experience.

I had a consultation with Mark to discuss the potential of having laser eye surgery. He was very kind and welcoming. He was helpful in explaining all of the options available to me and I greatly appreciated his honesty in the risks versus rewards of this. He gave me very reasonable expectations and also provided a very clear picture of what would occur during the surgery and the aftermath. I decided to proceed with the surgery and even though I was anxious in the lead up to and during the procedure, he talked to me the entire time and guided me through it which most definitely put me at ease. Couldn't have asked for better.
