About The Westbourne Centre
The Westbourne Centre is a modern, state-of-the-art medical centre, located in the heart of Edgbaston's medical quarter in Birmingham.
The Westbourne Centre opened in January 2009, by four well-established surgeons who wanted to provide a safe and pleasant environment for their patients and have the opportunity to work collaboratively to bring about new methods for treatments. The Centre has brought together a diverse group of specialists, devoted to delivering the safest, least-invasive solution for every patient and providing the highest quality procedures and treatments in the world today. We have experts in dermatology, plastic surgery, dentistry and more. We are one of a small group of surgery facilities in the UK offering major surgical procedures using a local anaesthetic with sedation.
As innovators within their specialist areas, our consultants are committed to ensuring the options they provide patients will provide the best outcomes for each individual. From initial consultation through treatment and then aftercare, your consultant is fully engaged every step of the way. Patient safety and care is the highest priority of the The Westbourne Centre's consultants, the clinical staff and the administrative team working . As a private day facility, The Westbourne Centre is monitored and regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) who rated us as ‘Good' in April 2017.

I honestly don’t know where to start when it comes to leaving a review for Dr Foster. From the moment I met him, I felt completely comfortable and reassured. I had a lot of doubts before my carpal tunnel operation on my right hand. I had done a lot of research and wasn’t sure whether I wanted to go ahead with the procedure. However, after speaking with Dr Foster, he explained everything clearly, answered all my questions and made me feel so comfortable that I instantly knew I wanted to go ahead. The whole procedure went really well, and my recovery has been great. I saw Dr Foster again after six weeks, and he was very happy with how everything had healed — and so am I! The scar is just a straight line and is barely noticeable. Dr Foster has also offered to do my other hand, but I’ve decided to wait a few months as the recovery does take some time. He reassured me that if I change my mind and want to have it done sooner, I can simply call and get booked in. I genuinely couldn’t be happier with the care I received. Dr Foster was professional, reassuring and incredibly kind throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering carpal tunnel surgery. Thank you, Dr Foster!
I have now visited this clinic twice for 2 different surgical procedures, and I can’t fault it. The staff, doctors, nurses, and surgeons are all amazing, keeping you updated on a regular basis in relation to your procedure. The premises are very clean, and they do all types of surgery. I highly recommend the Westbourne Centre.
My last visit to Westbourne Centre was for a post op follow up with Mr Mark Foster. It was a busy morning at the centre but I was seen in a timely manner. Mr Foster was pleased with my progress. As usual, all staff was friendly and helpful. I am also impressed with the housekeeping team; the centre is always spotless clean and tidy. Thank you.

Amazing service. Have been there twice. Came home and forgot to ask dr reece a question and he called me back straight away. My questions are answered straight away and I am put at ease.
