Mr Robin Rees provides clear explanations and a kind, professional approach in patient interactions. He performs Achilles tendon reconstruction, cheilectomy, and various foot and ankle fusion surgeries. Patients consistently report successful outcomes, experiencing minimal post-operative pain and fast recovery, with thorough care extending from initial consultation to discharge. Many patients refer to successful Foot and Ankle Surgery and Bunion Surgery.
Mr Rees asked how I was since I've had my treatment.i told him I was doing well and expected him to discharge me but he said he would see me again in six months just to make sure my treatment had worked and the problem did not reoccur. I was pleased because it gave me reassurance that he still wanted to see me to make sure I'm OK before discharging me.
Great consultant—thorough, patient, and excellent at explaining things in a way that’s easy to understand. He has a very caring nature and made me feel completely at ease. Thanks to his treatment, my foot is sorted and I’m back to walking without pain. I can’t thank him enough and would highly recommend him.
Listens well, explains clearly, is not patronising or aloof. Remembers me as an individual. Adult-to-adult manner.
Dr. Rees removed a bone spur from the inner underside of my index toe . ( Self inflicted due to over tight cycling shoes ) 😡Now back on the bike but still slower than i’d like . Brilliant experience all round at Rowley Park and Beacon Park hospitals , Stafford .
Renowned as one of the UK’s best Achilles surgeons, I actively sought out Robin Ree’s and was lucky enough to be in surgery within 3 weeks of my accident. It would be an understatement to say the surgery was a success and the post care has been equally as brilliant. Only 4 months post opp and I’m way ahead of where I should be, which, as an athlete, is incredibly important to me and for impending opportunities. I doubt I could have received better care with anyone and anywhere else.
My cheilectomy was a quick and straightforward procedure under a general anesthetic. I had no pain after the operation and went home with a protective shoe. When the dressing was removed I was delighted to see no sign of the incision and there was no swelling. The spur had gone. On visiting Mr Rees today, less than three weeks after surgery, I was told that I need not wear the protective shoe and that walking in particular would exercise the joint.
All of my appointments have been very thorough and I have always been treated with respect.
Excellent as usual I have been under the care of Mr Rees for 11 years and he has always done what’s best for me
Excellent surgical knowledge and skills
