About Mrs Archana Jaiswal
Mrs Archana Jaiswal is a consultant ENT surgeon who is based between the Manchester Royal Infirmary and Salford Royal Foundation Trust.
Mrs Jaiswal specialises in sinus surgery, functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty, advanced sinus surgery and anterior skull base surgery. She is highly experienced in treating people for allergies, sinusitis, blocked noses, broken noses and cosmetic concerns affecting the nose.
Dedicated to providing patient-centred care and high quality surgical outcomes, Mrs Jaiswal ensures her patients feel entirely comfortable, understood and involved.
After her graduation from the University of Leeds, Mrs Jaiswal completed her early surgical training, followed by her higher surgical ENT training. She then became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, England and completed her specialist surgical training at the same time as achieving a postgraduate research degree at the University of Manchester.
Mrs Jaiswal has since spent a year on the prestigious Fellowship in Rhinology and Facial Plastic Surgery at Guys and St Thomas's Hospital in London. Following on from this, she completed the American Rhinology Society Fellowship at the University of Alberta, developing her skills in endoscopic sinus surgery and anterior skull base surgery.
Mrs Jaiswal has published many research papers, and has also presented at national and international conferences. With a passion for teaching, she carries out undergraduate and postgraduate teaching at the University of Manchester and Health Education Northwest. She also offers pastoral care for the ENT trainee doctors at the Manchester Royal Infirmary, where she is the clinical head of junior doctors.

After I was referred to Dr Jaiswal I had two appointments which filled me with confidence. I understood the process and the timescales involved. By the time it came to the date of my surgery I felt comfortable with everything. I am really happy with my early results & recovery and I’m confident that if any issues arise then Dr Jaiswal will be able to assist. I’d also like to extend my gratuity to Dr Jaiswal’s team, to include Claudia, Dr Labor and the rest of the staff that kindly looked after me. I’d have confidence in recommending Dr Jaiswal to anyone who is considering having treatment with her.
I’ve had a few consultations with Archana, and her knowledge, professionalism and commitment to patient care is second to none. There’s been a couple occasions where I’ve seen her for one thing, and she’s helped me with a totally different issue. Without me having to ask.
Very positive - i felt like any concerns were addressed and discussed and follow up actions have neen taken.
Had to wait 30 minutes for my appointment but once I was seen, everything was more than satisfactory
