Ms Eriola Mushi

Ms Eriola Mushi is a Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) and Head and Neck Surgeon. She completed her medical training in the UK and graduated with honours from Liverpool University School of Medicine in 2006, receiving an Outstanding Achievement Prize.

Following her medical degree, Ms Mushi undertook foundation training in upper gastrointestinal surgery and orthopaedics before completing core surgical training in Manchester and South Wales. She later undertook a research fellowship in Liverpool and completed her specialist training in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery through the Mersey Deanery (Health Education North West).

During her specialist training, she gained experience at several tertiary centres, including Aintree University Hospital and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. She also completed an observership at Radboud University Medical Centre in Nijmegen, Netherlands, to further develop her surgical expertise.

Ms Mushi was appointed as a Consultant ENT Surgeon at Mid Cheshire NHS Foundation Trust in 2023. She serves as the Paediatric ENT Lead and contributes to the trust’s difficult airway training programme. She is also the Education Lead for otolaryngology trainees across the North West Deanery.

Her clinical interests include thyroid surgery, benign and malignant head and neck conditions, skin lesion removal, snoring and sleep-disordered breathing surgery, swallowing disorders, voice problems, sinus disease, dizziness and vertigo, tinnitus, ear conditions, and paediatric ENT.
