I wanted to share my experience at Spire Hospital following our recent visit. Honestly, I only wish we had come sooner. The level of kindness and care we experienced was completely unexpected and so deeply appreciated. From the very beginning, the receptionist was incredibly warm and welcoming. It immediately put me at ease. When we got to the outpatient area, the staff there were just as lovely—they even guided us towards the children’s toy area, which really helped calm my son. Mira then came out personally to get us from the waiting area, which I didn’t expect at all. I felt bad she had to come out, but she reassured me not to worry, which just reflects the kind of person she is. The other staff member with her was also so patient and understanding, doing her best to help settle my son during the appointment. Afterwards, when we went to the pharmacy, another member of staff—despite not even working in that department—kindly stepped in to help get our prescription sorted. She suggested we go to the restaurant to help calm my son, which turned out to be such a thoughtful and helpful idea. In the restaurant, the kindness continued. A staff member even cut up my son’s toast for him, which was such a small but meaningful gesture. What really stood out to me was how multiple staff members who passed through took the time to smile, greet my son, wave, and try to engage with him. That kind of genuine warmth is so rare to come across these days. I’m so used to environments where people are just focused on getting through their tasks, so this level of care and attentiveness ...

The quality of care and support I received for my heart surgery at Spire was of the highest level. The CCU and Ward staff provided warm reassurance and dedicated professionalism at every step as an integral part of the team with the excellent surgeon and anesthetist. I am immensely grateful to all of them for this life changing and exteding procedure.
