Tim was incredibly professional, kind, and personable throughout my consultation. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Tim’s friendly and approachable manner made the experience positive, and I would have no hesitation in recommending him. I was clear on the next steps and what I would need to do regarding my treatment/follow up and it was just an all round great experience.

Attended a consultation with Mr Timothy Clough for both left & right foot bunions and potential corrective surgery. Xray taken and left food given priority. The explanation on type of bunions, type of surgery and recovery process was explained very well. Post consultation date for surgery was confirmed very quickly and in approx 1 month from consultation. Thank you to Anne (private secretary) for her support.

Really prompt assessment following initial injury, thorough discussion around the pro’s & con’s of the surgical procedure. Alternative management options (non-operative) also discussed at length. Allowed for fully informed decision making. Proceeded to surgery. Now 5months post-op. Rehab to this point has been uncomplicated and progressing along expected timeline. Very happy!

Following up on previous advice from Tim and giving enough time for me to strengthen around my ankle post op has resulted in the best news of not requiring another operation at this time. All advice and explanations were made clear by Tim. My issue has not healed as I have a longitudinal tear in my tendon. However, I am pain free and trouble free. We both feel the best action is to keep the file open and review later in life should it become an issue. Thank you to Tim for the first operation to fix my tendon which has been a great success.

I saw Mr Clough after suffering with ongoing ankle pain and instability for several years. He took the time to explain what was causing the problem and clearly talked me through the treatment I needed. I ultimately had an ankle arthroscopy and lateral ligament reconstruction. The operation went really smoothly with no complications, and the care and aftercare I received from Mr Clough and the whole team was excellent. I always felt well looked after and had confidence in the treatment I was receiving throughout. I’m really pleased with my experience and the results of my surgery, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mr Clough and his team.

Mr Clough was professional and explained clearly what tests I needed to ascertain my health issues and following tests he was clear with the results and recommendations going forward in a way I could understand. He was friendly. listened to me to find out my problems & made me feel at ease.

Good to see this Dr after a year procedure. He carried out an x-ray and assured me that all was looking good for the future. I was very satisfied.

I attended for my year review after surgery. Had X-rays and then saw Mr Clough, both of us are very happy with my results after a year and don’t need any further appointments. I did seek out Mr Clough to be my consultant as he is a specialist and one of the only surgeons to do my type of toe surgery (Mtp1 replacement) We have spoken about me having my other toe done in the near future, I have great confidence that that will go as well as the first.

Everything from arranging appointments through Mr Clough’s secretary to getting the surgery done was very easy and efficient. His secretary is very approachable and responsive. Mr Clough ran his clinics and operation list to time. Everyone I met was helpful and professional. My only gripe is that the physio insisted I take crutches and that they would take them back. I did not use them and they would not take them back

Dr Clough is always a delight to see. He is very clear in his explanations and makes it certain you know what the risks and benefits of each of the options he presents are. He has really stuck with me to address all my concerns regarding the pain and instability ive felt, and made sure all the imaging, even when negative full fits the clinical picture. My MRI came back negative, however when I stated the instability in my ankle, he didnt just quote the MRI result, he ordered an ultrasound over the area of pain and it found that the MRI has missed the tears in my peroneals. This is the above and beyond that Dr Clough goes through, and his thorough nature when it comes to addressing concerns. I have nothing but praise for the way he practices medicine, especially as a doctor myself. Highly recommend him to anyone with ankle issues
