About Dr Abdullah Mohammed
Dr. Abdullah Mohammed is a Consultant Cardiologist who completed his medical qualification at the University of Glasgow. During training, he undertook more focused subspecialty training in echocardiography and cardiac imaging. He completed the Mersey Deanery Training Programme in Cardiology and General Medicine.
Throughout his career, Dr. Mohammed has gained wide experience in medicine and cardiology whilst working at some of the UK's largest teaching hospitals and cardiology institutions in Glasgow, Staffordshire, Manchester, Liverpool, and Sheffield.
He has extensive experience with cardiac conditions such as angina, heart failure, valve heart disease, and atrial fibrillation. He is also experienced in cardiac risk assessment prior to non-cardiac surgery, and ‘Healthy Heart' checks up for cardiovascular disease screening and primary prevention advice.
In addition to general cardiology, he is particularly proactive in invasive cardiology, alongside his special interest in advanced cardiac imaging techniques and their role in selecting the most appropriate and evidence-based medical or surgical treatment.

Cannot fault Dr Mohammed’s professionalism. I first saw him 3 years ago when I was experiencing certain cardiac symptoms but my GP completely ignored me cause I was “young” and “healthy” even though I have a large family history of cardiac problems. My parents paid for me to go and see Dr Mohammed who straight away listened to me as a person. He went above and beyond to do thorough investigations to help come to a conclusion regarding what was causing my symptoms. And 3 years later I feel so much better due to the medication I was given and that my GP would never of prescribed originally cause I was “young”. Thank you so much for all your help nothing is ever an issue
I have been experiencing palpitations and breathlessness as well as pain underneath my left breast. Dr Abdullah asked a lot of questions and took my blood pressure readings during the appointment. He answered all of my questions and explained what he thinks is wrong and suggested more tests so we can have another follow up with the necessary results.
Dr Mohammed explained everything so clearly and patiently that I felt very reassured after the consultation. He is an excellent doctor and I would definitely recommend him for anyone with cardiac related issues.
Dr Mohammed was wonderful. Very personable, kind and caring. Fully explained my results in a way in which I could understand them and I didn’t feel rushed in asking questions. Come away feeling very reassured by him. Thoroughly did my research contacting a specialist and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him.
