Excellent standard of cleanliness, friendly staff would Rate 10/10

Hospital was very good

I had to wait for two hours for an endoscopy which wasn't pleasant. Other than this I would highly recommend them for cleanliness, kindness and a pleasant experience.

We arranged an Echocardiogram for my father through Spire at Fairfield Hospital St Helens. Dr Mohammed's Secretary was very knowledgeable & responsive in setting up a zoom appointment with Dr Mohammed. The subsequent Echocardiogram & heart monitor were all arranged in the same week. There was a face to face meeting soon after the tests were done to discuss the results. We're very pleased with the speed with which this was completed & especially the friendliness & patience with which the team at Spire dealt with our questions. We never felt hurried in our dealings with anyone.

The surgeon made great decisions all of the way through my experience and I'm now in full health and very happy. I think that communication and organisation with regards to patients' needs should be improved, but it wasn't terrible. I had to call a few times to chase appointments. I also think the post op bedside briefing could be improved, as I was on heavy pain killers straight after the operation and struggled to remember what I'd been told about my recovery, with nothing on paper or sent to me to refer to.

I couldn't have asked for a more professional and caring environment to have had my hip replacement done. I would highly recommend the Spire Manchester to anyone after my wonderful experience..
