Mr. Kavan Johal is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital, where he offers a comprehensive range of both cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery procedures.

Graduating with first-class honours from the University of Nottingham in 2009, Mr. Johal pursued advanced training in plastic surgery at renowned teaching hospitals in London. He further developed his expertise through prestigious fellowships in aesthetic surgery at the Wellington Hospital and in microsurgery and lymphoedema in Taiwan and Korea, supported by awards from the Royal College of Surgeons and BAPRAS.

As a substantive consultant at the esteemed St Andrew’s Centre for Plastic Surgery in Essex, Mr. Johal's practice covers various aspects of breast surgery, with a particular focus on reconstruction using microsurgical free flaps such as DIEP and TUG, as well as implants. He specialises in breast reduction, correction of congenital breast asymmetry, complex revisional cases, and treatment of gynaecomastia. Additionally, he provides expert care for patients with benign skin lesions, skin cancers, and other general plastic surgery concerns.

With formal training in aesthetic surgery, Mr. Johal has a keen interest in all facets of breast, face, and body contouring procedures. He is committed to education, training, and innovation at both local and national levels. Supported by funding from BAAPS and the Healing Foundation, he has pursued postgraduate higher education and has contributed extensively to leading scientific journals, including multiple book chapters.
