Mrs Mira de Kruijf is a highly experienced Consultant Paediatric Otolaryngologist who has been practising at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital (RMCH) from 2016, where she is Deputy Clinical Director for Surgery and Theatres. Her area of expertise is exclusively focused on children's ear, nose and throat conditions.
Mrs de Kruijf has a specialised interest in a wide range of paediatric ENT conditions including:
1) tonsillitis and recurrent sore throats
2) snoring and sleep disordered breathing (sleep apnoea)
3) glue ear and hearing loss in childhood
4) tongue tie
5) nasal obstruction (blockage), hayfever and sinusitis

Dr De Kruijf took the time to explain everything to us. We felt confident that our child's welfare was her priority during our appointment.

Honestly the amount of times I have been to the private sector to see a specialist for various things. This was one of those appointments I walked out of and was happy I had met a caring doctor. I have to say Dr Kruijf made the appointment so comfortable for my 6 year old daughter. Dr Kruijf was very attentive to the fact my daughter was nervous. Her explanation to me about her diagnosis was met by all standard! Thank you

Mira and her team have been absolutely fantastic with our daughter - she made a worrying time much less stressful with her detailed explanation of the problem and the operation to resolve it. She made our daughter feel comfortable and at ease which made the process much more bearable because our daughter was so relaxed.
