I recently had two full knee replacements at The Rivers. The experience was 10 out of 10 from start to finish and a big thank you to everyone at this place. Too many to name. Hopefully you get to stay overnight as the food is amazing. You cannot go wrong with cooked breakfast, prawn baguette and sausage and mash for dinner. See there is a benefit to two knee replacements. Then we move onto my doctor Mr Satish Kutty. Through Vitality you get to choose your doctor, I never looked at their experience, etc. I chose Mr Kutty because of his smile. What a great choice I made, of course he is serious but he has a side to him that makes you feel at ease. Which you need for 2 x full knee replacements. I cannot speak highly about Mr Kutty and I wish him all the best as I now have two perfect knees, so thank you. You will not go wrong by choosing The Rivers and Mr Kutty. Regards Andrew M.

The whole experience of my operation both before and after was excellent. I had a follow up appointment after 6 weeks with Mr Kutty and I was very pleased with the result. I am very happy with the outcome I have been given my mobility back.

On arrival to my 7th medical check on my left hip replacement, an x ray was performed promptly, my appointment was on time seeing Mr Kutty registrar who greeted me with a friendly kind manner explaining the outcome off my x ray followed by an examination on the movement off the hip, which I’m very pleased to say everyone was happy. I don’t need to be seen for 2 years unless I get any problems. I left with a smile on my face as I always have with the kind, professional treatment that I always receive.

My dad recently underwent a hip replacement with Mr Kutty, and I genuinely cannot recommend him highly enough. My dad had been putting this operation off for years because he is extremely anxious about hospitals and surgery. From our very first consultation, Mr Kutty took the time to explain everything clearly, answer every question patiently, and make what felt like a very daunting experience seem manageable. His calm, reassuring manner immediately put us at ease. The care throughout the entire process was exceptional. We always felt well looked after, supported and informed, and the whole journey from consultation through to surgery and follow-up was incredibly smooth. It truly felt like wraparound care rather than just a single operation. At my dad’s follow-up appointment, it was lovely to see how genuinely pleased Mr Kutty was with his progress. He celebrated my dad’s achievements with him, which meant a great deal and really showed how much he cares about his patients as individuals. Thanks to Mr Kutty and his team, my dad has had such a positive experience that, incredibly, he is now looking forward to having his other hip replaced—something we never thought we’d hear him say. A fantastic experience from start to finish with this very professional, yet friendly consultant. From a quick diagnosis of my knee injury to post operative care, Mr Kutty was excellent, communicating clearly and performing the surgery quickly and effectively. Recovery was extremely quick and I no longer suffer any knee pain and have a full range of movement restored. I highly rate this exceptional consultant.
