Mr Sanjay Agrawal is a senior Consultant Bariatric, Laparoscopic and Upper GI Surgeon in London, Essex and Hertfordshire specialising in weight-loss / obesity procedures, gallstone surgery and all kinds of hernia surgeries. He was Clinical Lead for Bariatric Surgery at Homerton University Hospital in London, UK (November, 2021-2024).

Sanjay is an expert in all kinds of HERNIA (GROIN / INGUINAL / FEMORAL / UMBILICAL / BELLY BUTTON / EPIGASTRIC / PORT-SITE / iNCISIONAL / VENTRAL / RECURRENT HERNIA) surgery and surgery for GALLSTONES through KEY-HOLE / LAPAROSCOPIC technique on a regular basis. He also trains other surgeons for these surgeries on a regular basis.

Sanjay has performed about 1,750 bariatric operations, and over 2,500 general surgical procedures. He also spends time training others in bariatric and laparoscopic surgery. He presents at international conferences and publishes articles in renowned journals.

Consultation: Mr Agrawal works within London, Essex and Hertfordshire. Please note that appointment prices vary based upon patient treatment. For weight-loss surgery, the initial cost of the face-to-face consultation is £100 for assessment. Alternatively, we also offer free telephone consultation to have an initial conversation with our surgeon. For General Surgery (hernias and gallbladders), the first consultation cost is £200 and follow-up is £150.
