I found Mr. Agrawal very thorough efficient and caring. All questions were answered including questions relating to my Hiatus Hernia while I was actually seeing Mr. Agrawal regarding a double groin hernia. Thanks to a letter Mr. Agrawal sent to my GP I was retested for my Hiatus Hernia resulting in a change in medication. Mr. Agrawal operated on my double groin hernia with great results. Mr Agrawal treated me for a suspect hernia which turned out to be four ! He helped me through the whole process from initial diagnosis to surgery and after care. He is warm and friendly and explains the options and the details with great patience. He was able to fix my four hernias within 2 weeks of my initial consultation which was fantastic. It took me about 3 days to recover enough to start working from home and after 7 days I was pretty mobile and driving again. That was 4 weeks ago and I am back to my old self now. I saw Mr Agrawal about an inguinal hernia. For my case he considered open surgery the most appropriate, and gave me a comprehensive explanation of the treatment, including the various risks. The surgery went well, and I made a complete recovery within a few weeks with minimal post-operative pain. Mr Agrawal is very pleasant and reassuring to deal with, and I can wholeheartedly recommend him based on my experience.

Having lived with my hernia for three years I was able to fund myself to go private for treatment which was scheduled for last summer but due to other health issues I was told that I was not well enough to undergo surgery. Fast-forward almost a year and after treatment I had the surgery last June to repair my inguinal hernia after suffering almost constant pain from the hernia and the real possibility that I might have to attend A&E for emergency treatment at any time. Mr Agrawal told me the surgery went well to repair what had become a large hernia. Post op I was pain free with some bruising and swelling as expected for a few weeks but everything is back to normal and the scar has healed. I cannot thank Mr Agrawal enough for giving me a pain free life again. It was worth every penny. Life with the hernia placed so many restrictions on what I was able to do but now I can do whatever I want.
