At the outset I was nervous as the suspected bcc was in an awkward place. Mr Pollock talked through all the options with me and I was happy with the decision to go for a "small margin" in the first instance. The excision was done on 26th November. The surgery went well. Mr Pollock did an excellent job, particularly because it was around the mouth area. On 31st December I had a follow up appointment to find out the results. Mr Pollock reiterated the discussion we had previously had about the various options and then told me it was an infiltrative bcc with roots . I was very worried at the prospect of more surgery. He then told me he had successfully got it all out. Tip for next time: Maybe lead with "Its good news".

I had a pre operative test at Bushey Spires Hospital and it transpired that I had a heart issue which precluded me from being given a G.A, I was told to see a cardiologist and BUPA gave me the name of Dr Jain He saw me within a couple of days, and I had many tests before being diagnosed with Atriul Fribrilation. He started me on a course of medication immediately His manner was fantastic, he told me everything every step of the way. I was very scared of my future, but he was re assuring and made me feel both safe and secure. I had cardio version, and now out of Heart Failure. I can recommend him 100%. Unreservedly

After an accident I dislocated my finger and it healed with a severe contracture that was impeding my daily life. I saw Mr. Al-Tawil who recommended first non-surgical interventions with great specialists. Unfortunately these didn't work and he did a volar plate release surgery for my hand injury. The result was very good. I've regained 80% of my extension, no longer have any pain, and the scar has disappeared only a couple months later. He was very thorough about all the pros and cons throughout my journey and I felt very prepared. He's a great surgeon.

He goes at your pace and he will help make the best decisions with you and on your behalf. He travels to top conferences and is up to date with most progressive treatments that can be offered. You will be lucky if you get on his list he is sought out by celebrities and royalty.

I fell in August and damaged both shoulders - although everyone that I have dealt with both over the phone and face to face have been both efficient and warmly friendly I will not receive treatment until February (7 months after my accident). Or get them all done in one go, here, seamlessly, for a little more cost. Doctor, staff, practice, whole experience all first rate.

Dental practice aside, which are exemplary, the practice needs some heating it was too cold in there and I must say £5 for the soft bristle tooth brush just because I forgot mine was not necessary at all. I felt a little shoehorned into having to buy that which I did not appreciate.

The support staff are no good - tried to contact using whatsapp, the messages get read but not answered, emailed but these dont get replied to. Call and get hold of someone who struggles to understand anything we're saying and just puts the phone down. So frustrating.
