Getting a diagnosis really helped me
4.5
I feel like it’s nicer than the other psychiatric hospitals: cleaner, more freedom, good food etc. At times though, I didn’t know what would be happening next. There was one therapist (not in CBT, DBT, IPT) who was a bit hopeless.
4.75
The process at the Nightingale was smooth and efficient with helpful staff and minimal waiting times.

4.5
Overall I had a good experience at Nightingale hospital. Most staff is very friendly and caring. I would like to leave a special thank to nurse Risq, and the amazing duo Andrea and Sarah which have gone above and beyond during my time here, always kind, supportive and able to make me smile. Despite the good rating I feel there is some things to improve to better the patient care. Such as improve communication between day and night staff (I did however see an improvement throughout the 4 weeks I was here, which I hope continues). I did a formal complain about medication errors, however I didn't have any response from the compliance/complaint team, It would have been a better service if I have received some akwoledgement and response to my complaint while I was an inpatient. To many group sessions happened over zoom, which makes it more difficult to share and be open in group therapy, and in my case it led to isolation in more difficult periods. I understand that Covid - 19 is the culprit but it was time that this restriction were eased as it has happened in the outside world, besides it patients mingle all across the hospital, so restricting us from being in the same room for therapy doesn't seem justifiable. Despite some issues along the way, I can see some improvement in my mood and wellbeing when compared to the day I came in and for this I am thankful for the service provided.
